185/65 15 Tyre Review Highlights

Altenzo Equator scored 100% while driving a Renault Grand Scenic
Driving on mostly country roads for 12400 spirited miles
Have driven in all weather conditions with not a thought about these tyres and have never once caused me any concern . What more can you ask from a tyre . Good in wet and suprisingly quite considering the low price . I feel I have had a bargain and will be buying again .

Michelin Energy Saver Plus scored 100% while driving a Dacia Logan
Driving on a combination of roads for 61500 average miles
I see You write a review about energy saver plus wich is a SUMMER tire , in fact you test them on winter, on Ice???!!! I am missing something?
This tyres are not supossed to handle weell on Ice and cold weather because has a strong composition.
I used old Michelin Energy 185/65/R15 not Energy Saver Plus from 2007 since december 2012 for a total of about 75 000 km - 46602 miles only in summer and I was thrilled by the results.
-Long lasting tyre
-good grip
-Verry lite and thin tyres
-Noiseless
-No vibration on normal Hi speeds (120-150 KM/h 74-93 miles/hour)
My car doesn't run faster than 170km/hour but on Romanian national roads is enough :)
-usage on mostly city and inter city roads
-after 75.000km-47000miles I haven't reach the safety mark and I have 1-2 milimeters more

Tomorrow I will buy 4 new Energy saver plus (made in Germany 2012 december)and I am verry anctious about it.
I know that I had excelent results with precedent tyre model and I am confident that these will be much better than the old ones that I'm replacing.
As a note:
-I am replacing the old tyres because of the age of rubber and the fact that they are showing lateral small cracks (normal as long usage 6 years)
-At every 2 weeks I periodically check and set tyre pressure to 220kPa

Falken SN828 scored 98% while driving a Toyota IST
Driving on a combination of roads for 200 average miles
It's been about 2 weeks since I put these on my IST and I love them! These tyres are very comfortable, quiet and they grip very well :) The price was also very reasonable in comparison to other brands I checked out and they feel better than the more expensive Bridgestones they replaced. I have a feeling they are also going to last for many kilometres. Overall great tyres at a fantastic price, reccommended 100%

Michelin Energy Saver scored 96% while driving a Peugeot Partner combi
Driving on mostly country roads for 36000 average miles
I bought these to replace the Continental 4x4s on the front of my car that died after 12000 miles. The old tyres had very poor grip and would often spin when climbing wet/muddy/snow-covered steepish roads resulting in the tread rapidly wearing out. The old tyres also seemed to produce a lot of tourque steer.

The Michelins almost never lost grip even in packed snow! The car felt much more in control with very little if any torque steer. The car's fuel economy improved but also the tyres lasted for 37000 miles!!!

I replaced the michelins with a set of Pirellis which have behaved just like the Continentals and also resulting in an accident due to loss of grip on snow.

I now need a new set of tyres and will definately be purchasing another set of the Michelins. The fact that they lasted 3 times as long is worth 6 tanks of fuel!!!
