205/55 15 Tyre Review Highlights

Evergreen DynaComfort EH226 rated 81% while driving a Skoda
Driving on a combination of roads for 20 easy going miles
Had these on my used Skoda Octavia Estate and changed to high end tyres just to find out despite the rating that the new ones had a lower MPG and where much more bouncy making the drive less comfortable.

Switched back to the Evergreen and life was good again.
Great economy, comfortable ride, lasted 20,000 miles.
Driven to Europe twice a year and never had any issues with winter drive in wet and snow.
Will buy again.

General Altimax Sport rated 70% while driving a Audi A4 1.9 TDI
Driving on mostly country roads for 25000 average miles
This tyre is just a good average tyre, I have been use 205/55/15 on my audi a4 b5 with 116ps and this tyre i doesn't show me some awesome perfromance what and i don't have expected. After 2 years of using the tyre is losing their performance for grip on wet and comfort.

Accelera PHI R rated 100% while driving a Toyota Yaris
Driving on mostly town for 500 average miles
Excellent dry grip. I had no problems in the wet. In comparison to the tires that were replaced, I noticed improvements while driving, immediately. The road noise is a lot quieter. These tires are comfortable. I enjoy how much smoother my ride is. These budget tires are awesome! I got good value for my money. I would definitely buy a set of these tires again. I daily drive on the streets mainly. But also on the freeway. The Accelera Phi-R tires are better than the Toyo tires I had.

Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 rated 60% while driving a Suzuki Swace
Driving on mostly country roads for 1000 miles
Original fitment on Suzuki Swace hybrid can't understand why Suzuki fit this tyre it has a poor test record on rolling resistance I'm not getting the fuel mileage I should be it's rubbish in the wet and worst of all in a very quiet car it is such a noisy tyre.

Bridgestone Turanza T005 rated 73% while driving a Toyota Corolla E140
Driving on a combination of roads for 500 average miles
I drove my car about 700km with combination roads (asphalt, pave, also little bit dirt road). FYI, my Turanza series is T005A which is made in Indonesia. I felt quieter than my previous tyre (Ecopia EP150), also greater handling too. In wet road condition, i feel there is no big differences. So far, I'm satisfied with my new tyres and I'm enjoying it to drive more far! But, this tyre has the highest price in my country in it's class. Also, this tyre get dirty easily on it's sidewall especially if you drive it on the dirt road.

Kumho Ecsta KU31 rated 77% while driving a MINI Cooper S
Driving on mostly country roads for 40000 spirited miles
Fitted these tyres to Mini Cooper S using 15" tyres and they were great. Dry and wet handling is great, especially after the changes to the suspension and proper wheel alignment with proper corner weighting. You could really pushed the car to the limit and when they do understeered, you could really unwind the wheel and it would tuck in again. Great value for money vs performance. Quite playful too, could invoke lift off oversteer with these tyres. It hasn't got the outright grip compare to Potenza RE002, but you don't really need it with Mini Cooper S because the chassis with proper alignment and coilover is fun will smaller less grippy tyres.

Bridgestone DriveGuard rated NAN% while driving a BMW
Driving on mostly motorways for 9000 average miles
Am shocked worn to 1.5mm evenly in 1 year/ 9000 miles, for a known brand this is dreadful. not worth it

Michelin Premier AS rated 59% while driving a Toyota Corolla
Driving on mostly motorways for 13000 easy going miles
Overall these tires are decent, but their price tag and tread life make this a tire I wouldn't recommend. I've driven these tires in all seasons and they do very well during the warm months. They've never slid or hydroplaned in wet conditions and the tires are quiet and have a decent ride. The Premiers do start sliding a bit though when there's snow or ice on the road. They've never left me stuck but I have slid past stop signs, while uttering four letter words, a couple of times despite trying to be careful. The main problem with these tires is the tread life. I have roughly 13,000 miles on the tires and they're all already down to 5/32nds; soon they'll be unsafe to drive during seasonal transitions. I also learned these tires only come with 8.5/32nds of rubber from the factory, which means they're only safe to drive in light snow for less than half of their tread life. This is pretty ridiculous for the 40% price premium these tires command. With all of that said, I can't recommend these tires to other shoppers. There are better and cheaper tires available.

Goodyear UltraGrip 9 rated 99% while driving a Volkswagen Golf 1.9 Tdi
Driving on mostly country roads for 2000 easy going miles
Spent the winter season in the French Alps and these tyres were amazing. We had 1 metre of snow one day and after digging the car out we had no need for snow chains, either getting out of car park and drove to ski resorts without any issues and felt very secure.

Also somewhat surprised on how quiet they were on driving from and back from the UK.

Highly recommend

Accelera PHI rated 31% while driving a Volvo V70 2.4T
Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 average miles
Shocking tyres in the wet - buy something else if there is any chance of rain anywhere near where you are going. Volvo's are pretty sure footed, but my V70 just understeers across the road when it is wet at 20 mph. Really, these are dangerous :-(
