205/60 15 Tyre Review Highlights

Bridgestone Supercat rated 54% while driving a BMW 325
Driving on mostly town for 10 easy going miles
I agree with other comments regarding these tyres Dry road I would say is OK good almost; Wet road absolutely wild Almost zero grip
I have two pirellis on front two Supercat on the back
Round-abouts are worst On wet roads the back just slips and slides
Have had Michelin tyres previously which were bad enough on wet/damp roads But these worse Then again they are half the price So, You get what you pay for
I’m a very sedate passive mature driver I don’t take risks on the road

Landsail DH2 rated 47% while driving a Honda CIVIC 1.6 VTEC
Driving on mostly town for 14000 miles
At 4 years old started cracking on the tread edges and now 5years severe cracking on the tread itself.
Now scrap. Ok at first but simply don't last.

Dunlop SP Sport LM704 rated 67% while driving a Toyota Cressida
Driving on a combination of roads for 12000 spirited miles
These have pretty great grip when dry. Can hear the tires squealing when pushed around curves hard, yet they still have traction. Wet grip is rather poor though, take it easy around corners when raining, especially hairpins. Makes for good drifting practice if you're bored however. At least you can feel when they start to lose grip and it's pretty easy to back off on the throttle as such. It seems dependent on the road surface however; I've taken some bends at speed in the wet no problem, while others that seem gentler I still feel the rear sliding out, this tends to happen more if the road surface looks especially smooth/shiny. I've been driving them hard for about 12,000 miles and they still seem to have a fair bit of tread so the wear seems to be ok. I'm not too sure whether I'd buy them again however. I've been looking for performance tires for a while now and while these are great, the wet performance does leave something to be desired.

Vredestein Hi Trac rated 57% while driving a Daewoo Leganza
Driving on mostly motorways for 20000 spirited miles
These tyres came on my Leganza and only because of the age I need to replace them after 10 years. Plenty of thread left. Never skidded in the wet or dry and I consider them as really safe tyres. However regarding handling/feedback it's a different story. As long as the road surface is smooth it's a comfortable tyre. Noise level on the high side though. Fuel consumption lower than average. When the road is old with 'tracks' from heavy vehicles it's very unpleasant. Also very sensitive for the right tyre pressure. Maybe the newer version is improved but I am not a fan of Vredestein.

Pace PC20 rated 61% while driving a Skoda
Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 average miles
There a fine tyre for the price. 10k miles in and they're showing normal signs of wear. Not a bad buy on a budget.

Dunlop Direzza DZ102 rated 83% while driving a Citroën C Elysee
Driving on mostly town for 8000 spirited miles
This is a Citroen C-ELYSÉE - 2020./ Less than 18,000km (Live in Lima, PERU). Replace OEM tires, because are not satisfied. Old where Bridgestone Ecopia EP25. New tires Dunlop Direzza DZ102 205/60-R15, now with 10,000km on it . What a difference. First, lower noise. A lot lower noise. Precise handling, impressive braking. (Dry pavement). Even in low-mid rain have a precise braking response. Firm suspension. Will buy again.

Barum Polaris 5 rated 60% while driving a BMW
Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 spirited miles
Surprisingly quiet, good snow traction, but quite a lot of wear and higgh fuel consumption, thats dissapointing because these two parameters were important for me and i guess for everybody who buys budget tyres..

Nokian WR Snowproof rated 59% while driving a BMW 320i
Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 average miles
On snow these Tyres are terrible. All over the Internet i just hear ooo Nokian is producing great tyres, they know what they doing and so on. Ok bought the tyres because my old ones from Goodyear UG9 were old, loud and thread was gone too. I have BMW E46 and driving it very long time, over 100k km drove with it and you can say I have experince. Same snowy roads, same car and I can say there Tyres are rubbish. The Car ist maybe 50% stable from how it was before. In the corners it easily slips, wheather you drive 2km/h or 15km/h. At acceleration the back of the car ist "dancing" all the time. Stopping at snow is the same with the UG9. This was a big mistake to buy these Tyres, going back next time again to Goodyear!
