265/60 18 Tyre Review Highlights

Bridgestone Dueler All Terrain AT002 rated 100% while driving a Ford Ranger
Driving on a combination of roads for 400 easy going miles
Bought these for my Ford Ranger based in the UK. Early days but so far excellent grip on dry and wet roads, no aquaplaning in heavy rain. Have noticed on mud im able to move along in 2WD whereas on the OEM Continental tyres I would have to select 4WD. Performance in light wet snow on UK roads has been excellent. Waiting for heavy snow to assess further. Slight rumbling from tread pattern at ~28mph but you have to really listen for it. Otherwise completely on par noise wise with previous conti tyres. Highway speed any tyre noise is overridden by wind noise from mirrors. Ride comfort is excellent and mpg is 0.5mpg average better than Conti's. Run tyres at 35psi inline with ECE117 tyre label rating reg. when driving on asphalt. Will review further when have higher wear but so far so good.

Nokian Outpost nAT rated 80% while driving a Porsche cayenne s
Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 average miles
My initial thoughts on the Outpost nAT are that they're definitely my favorite all-terrain tire I've ever had. My past all-terrain experience includes the Falken Wildpeak AT3W, BF Goodrich KO2, Toyo Open Country AT3, and Goodyear Duratrac. I think of that bunch, the Wildpeak is still going to hold the title as the quietest of the bunch with the Nokian being pretty similar to the Toyo AT3 in terms of tread noise. Neither of them are very noisy at all, but with the Wildpeak having the most road focused tread pattern it makes sense as to why it's just a bit quieter. Speaking of the tread blocks, this was one area of pleasant surprise when I got my eyes on the tires for the first time. I don't think pictures portray how aggressive the tread block voids and sidewall design is. It is a quite aggressive all-terrain and probably fits well into the category in between a tire like the Wildpeak and something more aggressive like the Duratrac of Baja Boss AT.

I believe these to be a better overall winter performer than the WR G4 SUV tires they replaced, and mostly due to how much better they are in the way of hydroplane resistance and how much more confidently they take on snow piles/drifts on highways where there is contact with the road surface in some areas of a road lane but not the whole lane. In fresh, softer snow these have braking performance that was nearly on par with the Hakkas I had on a previous vehicle, very impressive. I would expect the Hakka to still distance itself when the surface changes to hard packed snow and especially smoother ice. But it's hands down the best performance I've experienced from an all-terrain tire.

Continental TerrainContact AT rated 63% while driving a Lincoln Navigator
Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 spirited miles
Really like the all around performance in my normal environment of southern Texas. Off-road grip is great with a deep tread pattern. Noise on road is quiet for the type or tire it is. If you never get into a winter environment, I highly recommend them. However, my last trip to Colorado put me in so many close calls I couldn’t get off the mountain fast enough.

Bridgestone Dueler HT 684 rated 96% while driving a Ford Ranger
Driving on mostly town for 60000 spirited miles
Tires are going on 35T km and the front is already near the tread bars. Drive is mostly in the city where roads aren't smooth. 20% of the time I drive to the highway going to the province with rough road with lots of rocks and mud. Has good grip on wet and dry roads. Decent grip on rocky roads. I would buy again but looking at the reviews, there are better tires or same performance tires with a lower price tag. If you want a reliable brand and you have money then pull the trigger on this one. But if on a tight budget, other alternatives are available.

Cooper Discoverer Rugged Trek rated 88% while driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee
Driving on a combination of roads for 100 spirited miles
Love the looks, very comfortable (a lot more than Goodyear's wrangler kevlar, soft road feel, love on road handling, almost zero noise..

Bridgestone Dueler HT 684 rated 82% while driving a Isuzu DMAX
Driving on mostly country roads for 40000 easy going miles
Came fitted on Dmax. Okay on tar wouldn't be confident off road or mud. Towing a 2.5t van and tyres lose grip on wet grass in caravan park!

Nitto Ridge Grappler rated 86% while driving a Lexus GX460
Driving on mostly motorways for 60000 average miles
I have the stock size on a 2013 Lexus Gx460. Overall a great tire. I have 60,000 miles on them and 80% is on-road. In Florida the rain can be crazy. I have had no hydroplaning or loss of traction issues. In the sand and mud it has been very good. Our mud here in Florda is like paste. It caked up a little but was easily cleaned out with some throttle. Much better in the dirt and sand than in mud however. I am thinking of going with these again or the Toyo AT III

Bridgestone Blizzak DM V2 rated 89% while driving a Volkswagen TOUAREG V6 TDI
Driving on mostly country roads for 15000 spirited miles
We have 2 sets of Blizzaks on 2 VW Touaregs (2014 tdi and 2006 V8). *they are intentionally oversized 30.5" vs 29" oem diameter. We run these from mid-November through end-March in southeast Idaho and 6,000ft MSL. We've never been stuck(yet) and we've received nearly 4ft of snow this 2022-2023 winter. No noticeable road noise. Wife (2014 tdi) likes the ride and extra confidence vs. a/s Pirellis for summer. No comparison to "HT" tires on my 06 V8 - better ride, equally quiet, much improved handling in almost all conditions (except dry, warm roads). Have a 3rd set of Blizzak WS90's on our son's awd sedan. Would highly recommend any of these, and would buy again. *Would also buy Nokians, but fewer SUV size options and frequently on backorder in the US.

Dunlop Grandtrek AT20 rated 46% while driving a Mitsubishi Shogun 3.2Ltr Diesel LWB
Driving on mostly country roads for 30 average miles
The tyres came as OE on my Shogun SG3 LWB 4 years ago and were dangerous and confidence sapping in the wet and didn’t really improve with use. The grip and feedback in the dry were average but I persisted and learned their limits on the road and routinely used 4WD in the wet on tarmac. In mud and snow the tread pattern was very little help being little different to an ordinary road tyre. A month ago and after 30k miles I finally gave up on them and changed them for Avon AX7s which were a revelation. The AT20s had 50% wear left on the front pair and about 30% left on the rear pair and I estimate that I could easily have got another 10k miles out of them. The wear rate was remarkable but their lack of grip in the wet and in mud/snow left me at a loss as to why Mitsubishi thought that this was a suitable OE tyre for the Shogun.

Landsail LS588 SUV rated 81% while driving a Toyota fortuner
Driving on mostly town for 200 average miles
Changed the tires of legender from Dunlop. Ride is smooth. Comfortable. Only point of concern is country of origin. I over came the fear of made in China. I'll update review after driving more
