I sat down for hours searching for a decent set of car tyres, never bought any altenzo ones before and all the reviews said how good they were....I won't be changing that either. These tyres are nothing short of amazing, I've had them fitted over a year now and you wouldn't know cos they still look new. I've had bridgestone turanzo t005 previously and different high performance tyres in the past and have to say its the last time I'll be spending money on expensive tyres again. These sport comforters, handles fantastic even when pushed hard, in the wet they're easily as good us the turanzo t005 you wouldn't know it was wet outside, dry performance is brilliant along with braking distances which seem to be shorter than before. For the money, experience, enjoyment by far the best tyre about atm...highly recommend

Update: After some more daily driving (I'm the back seat driver), we've decided that these are excellent budget tires! 215/35R19 on a 8.5J Reverse Mount wheel, stretched the tire a bit, but this is awfull for every day driving! Not the tire's fault, but we wanted a little stretch. Dry: Great, just needs some heat and then they grip nicely. Wet: We thought that this would be awfull, but no. Just a little warm up and it grips like a rain tire! We were only able to slide on manholes, but back on asphalt, it just wouldn't let go! Feedback: Not so good, i think it's because of the stretched tires. Handling: Just ok. Again, stretched tires are to blame. Wear: Good, nothing extremely bad, maybe the inside over time because my friend is stubborn and didn't align the rear. Comfort: Does not apply on this setup. 215/35R19 stretched on a old, lowered E46 doesn't equal comfort. Do I recommend this tire? Not for most people, but this is exactly what WE wanted. Aggressive thread, not to expensive, a tire brand I've heard of, cheap, wonky sizes. For us, it's perfect!

Nankang NS2 rated 70% while driving a BMW 323i

Review of these Nankang Ns2's on my buddy's E46 215/35R19 85Y XL on a 8.5J rim, nice stretch, load rating plenty for a E46. First of, I recommended these tyres for him because he wanted a cheap, aggressive threaded tyre, with a rotation thread pattern. There isn't much to choose in 215/35R19. Hankook and Kumho too expensive, dont want unknown brands, so Nankang was about the only way to go. We specifically chose the NS2'S over the NS20'S because of better looks and similar reviews. Btw, if you find the Nankang NS2 Ultra Sports, those are the same as when you order regular NS2'S. Both have NS2 Ultra Sport written on the sidewall. Speaking of the sidewall, it's a very boring one, nothing special. Now, we only have these on the car for a few weeks now, and we really needed to break-in the tyres, driving carefully for the first 50 to 100 miles. First things that stand out, the noise, of boy they are noisy! But they give a lot of feedback! They are really stiff as well, mind you the sidewall is nearly nonexistent and his cold pressure is like 2.7 Bar and warmed up 3.0 Bar. Comparing to his old tyres, Hankook Ventus Evo 3's in 225/40R19 (93Y) XL (way to big for a lowered E46, he grabbed the tyre size of a E46 M3), the Nankangs have a little less grip, and dont give you as much confidence to push harder. Haven't tested in (heavy) rain yet, but we are expecting significant reduced grip, but that's to be forgiven. I wouldn't recommend these for the average driver, but for a project car and for the driver that can handle the noise, grip and probably wear, I would recommend them!

Triangle Sportex TSH11 rated 84% while driving a Volkswagen Golf GTI

New rims came with a set of triangles that were trashed, replaced them with the sportex, value for money is excellent. Handle very well, wheel spin in the wet but even my pirellis did that. All round they are the best value I can find

Bought my Golf MK5 GTI witht those tires. This car has 200HP. In the dry they have some grip but in the wet the traction control has to kick in every corner. Also with those tires it feels like the car is floating. The wear and price is good, but if you like to have a safe drive, dont buy those tires!

This is the second set of these i have had on my passat, i'm not running huge horsepower (230bhp) and these grip fine, even though my suspension has been lowered over 100mm, a bit slippy in the wet, but i don't really notice as i don't drive like an animal in the rain, many people don't like them, i do, always have, and i'll buy them again.

Was a little dubious about buying these at first, as most other tyres in this size are over twice the price. They have certainly proved me wrong and I've since recommended them to alot of people. I drive a 1.9tdi Audi A4, and I've never managed to make them loose grip or traction. If you drive normally then these are an excellent tyre. Super grippy in the dry, slightly less so (understandably) in the wet, but by no means "dangerous" as some people are claiming (I imagine its actually your style of driving thats dangerous) Will deffinitly buy again, although no signs of any wear yet and I've been running them over 3 months.

Have had these tyres on my front wheels for 4-6 months and lasted 7,000 -9,000 miles with everyday hard driving, Had twice as much grip as my Nankang NS2 Deathsliders in the wet and dry!!! my front wheel drive car now oversteers around corners which was hard to get used to as i have only ever driven front wheel drive cars that understeer! water dispersal is very good also and beats the AVON ZZ3 tyre easily against aqua planing, same water dispersal as GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 GSD2 but beats the GSD3 easily
Grip in dry beats ZZ3 (60% grip compared, Kumho Ecsta (80% grip compared), Falken Rotational (70% grip compared) sorry do not know exact name, Nankang NS2 (55% grip compared)
Wear is worst i have had on any tyre though but my last front tyres was the Nankang NS2 and they lasted far too long for the abuse i put them through trying to kill them so i could get the horrible things off my car!!!!
All of the fugures above are from what i experienced driving different tyres, I cant justify buying the Pirelli P Zero Neros for the extra ?35 as i dont think that they will perform much better than what these already do for me, they have soft sidewalls so buying the xl version is advisable

These are really good wet weather tyres and surprisingly good in the dry. Not quite wearing as well as the contis I had before but the rainsport is certainly an impressive all season high performance tyre.

Might try the FK452 next.
