255/45 19 Tyre Review Highlights

Hankook Ventus S1 evo 3 ev rated 69% while driving a Tesla Model Y rwd
Driving on mostly motorways for 23000 average miles
Original tyres on my Tesla model y rwd, grip good on dry, but on wet very slippy. Today is 8 celsius degree, I run them back home on wet, they slip every time when I accelerate. They run 37000km now and according to the tread depth 4mm left, they should be able to last for 50000km, quite durable. They are hard tyres, steering quick, but bounce a lot, maybe any other tyre will be more comfy than these.

Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season rated 75% while driving a Lincoln 2019 Continental 3.0 AWD
Driving on mostly motorways for 2500 average miles
Have put them on for 4000 kms and now performing well in winter. Enough grip on intermediate snow as all season tire, excellent on dry surfaces, and not bad for aqua planning. They're pretty balanced for different temperatures, at least working well from 20 to -20.

Continental PureContact LS rated 58% while driving a Lincoln 2019 Continental 3.0 AWD
Driving on mostly town for 24850 easy going miles
Used them on 17 Lincoln Continental AWD for 40000kms. They are good when new but after 2 years they wear out lack grip a lot and need be replaced. Poor traction on snow even though it said as all all-season tire, no traction at all on ice. Don't try using them in winter (I used them in Vancouver with not much snow).

Hankook Ventus S1 evo 3 ev rated 89% while driving a Tesla Model Y Long Range
Driving on a combination of roads for 36000 average miles
Came new on my 2022 Model Y LR, changing them after 57'000 km and residual 0,5 cm tread.
Good dry grip and decent wet grip, these tires are quiet and with a low wear.
Good value for money, I am fully satisfied and I have ordered an identical set of tires.

Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 rated 90% while driving a Tesla Model Y Perf
Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 spirited miles
I run this tire on a Model Y Performance in 19' and occasionally drive the tire to the limit. On the wet this tire is excellent no mater what you demand from it, and I have to praise a very progressive transition to slip so the tire is very easy to drive on the limit. Snow handling is very good, but if you are for max traction there are better winter tires. On the dry the tire is just OK, and as a negative I have to mention a rather low grip under braking (cornering is OK). Comfort is OK, and although I use it on EV (no sound absorbing foam version) there are no strange sounds (howling at certain speeds) and sound levels are OK.

Pirelli Scorpion rated 74% while driving a Volkswagen Tiguan
Driving on mostly country roads for 16000 average miles
Coming from a hot Audi hatchback, it was clear to me that trying to drive my new plug-in hybrid SUV in a spirited way was pointless. The tyres aided to this as the feedback is average and rather imprecise in the corners when pushing with 245hp on the front wheels. Further to this, the tyres lose grip easily when you are facing uphill and trying to start moving from a stand, especially in the wet. They are not a looker either, if that matters to you.

Comfort is where the tyres excel! The profile is rather low for this kind of vehicle, but the puddles are a joke and, I recon, the suspension is not the only one to thank. Also, I cannot stress enough how impressed I am with the ride quality and the lack of noise on the motorway. These tyres will be appreciated by BEV owners who travel long distances. Although I am not impressed by their performance in the wet, I must note that they behaved very safely in instances of aquaplaning. Finally, the wear is very good. 16,000 miles and they are good as new.

Vredestein Quatrac rated 93% while driving a Audi A6 Allroad 3.0 TDI
Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 spirited miles
Excellent tyre. I'm driving A6 Allroads for the past 10 years (changed 3 cars, 4G facelift being the latest model) and I was always running on Michelin CrossClimate and CrossClimate+. However, newest Michelin CrossClimate2 was just way too expensive, so I decided to give Vredestein a try. And I have to admit that I'm totally satisfied with this tyre! Everything runs smooth, I have full control over the car on both dry and wet. When driving through water, Vredestein simply does not do aquaplannung and handles perfectly, while CrossClimate always floated and couldn't handle the aquaplanning properly. The only minor drawback is it's noise that I didn't have on CrossClimate's, but since car has acoustic shielding in windshield, I really don't care. :) Plus, it's always kinda cool to see that 'Giugaro design' marking on the tyre. Since there was no snow last season, I have no clue how it performs on snow and ice, but quattro is quattro and I am convinced there will be no problems with it.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 rated 80% while driving a Audi A8 D4 4.2 TDI Quattro
Driving on mostly country roads for 15000 average miles
These tyres replaced the AO Pirelli P Zeros the car came with and transformed the feel of the car. The steering was more direct, and especially in the wet, where the Pirelli's gave some very heart stopping moments, these are consistent and reliable.

Vredestein Ultrac Vorti rated 96% while driving a Audi A8L Quattro
Driving on a combination of roads for 15000 spirited miles
Its update after 15000 miles still plenty tread for 10 tys to 15 tys miles. These tyre are Absolutely bargain compared to big brands. I am confident to say they are as good as Dunlops and Michelin for spirited driving. Tread wear is one of. I can't believe they have so much after 15tys miles (5.8mm)on quattro 2 tone car and look fabulous. Don't think about it just order them.

Pirelli P Zero PZ4 rated 63% while driving a Audi A8L Quattro
Driving on mostly motorways for 11000 average miles
I like grip with these tyres but they are made from chocolate. Utqg- mean tread wear is 220. With my Audi A8 L fronts after 10000 miles have 3,3mm. I never come across tyres like this. You get nexen nfera su1 40% less price and they do double mileage with similar performance and 69db compare to 73db.
Don't waste money and time on them
