265/30 19 Tyre Review Highlights

Continental Sport Contact 6 rated 87% while driving a BMW 320i Msport
Driving on a combination of roads for 23000 average miles
In my 25 years of driving, I've tried every premium brand and various UHP models within each brand. I've also tried a few mid-range brands. Continental still remains my first choice as it's the only brand that has consistently never lost traction be it dry/wet or hot/cold. I've used Sport Contact 2, 3 and 5P in the past. They never let me down. These SC6 were just as good and surprisingly much better on wear. All previous SC's had a high wear rate and would normally wear out around 10k miles. All other premium brands would last longer. But somehow I've managed to get 23k miles out of the SC6 and still have 2.5mm remaining so it seems I'll get a few more thousand miles out of them until they reach the legal limit. This is the most I've ever got out of any tyre which baffles me as I wasn't expecting it.
Now that they are down to 2.5mm and Spring has started (UK), I can't comment on what they'd be like in Winter towards the end of their life but I suspect no summer tyre would be so great. This Winter just finished they still performed excellent at around 3mm.
The SC6 (non OE spec) sit nicely on the wheel (265 tyre on a 9j wheel). I don't like tyres that curve in on the shoulders, I like them to sit flat and flush with the wheel for a more square look and these do that. The wheel protection isn't great but being low profile tyres, it would be impossible not to destroy the wheel anyway.
I believe the SC6 is only available in rim sizes of 19 inch and above so it gives you a good feeling that you've got something that isn't available to everyone.
Going forward, if I was to buy any tyre to replace these right now, I'd buy the newer SC7 to try out. It depends what you're looking for, I'm going by handling and grip performance. But if you're looking for the better value for money then there are other brands with good performance for example the Goodyear Eagle F1 (I've used Asymmetric 1, 2 and 3). Michelin, Bridgestone and Pirelli were also well balanced so from my experience you can't really go wrong with any premium brand if you drive according to the weather conditions. The only one I wouldn't buy again is Dunlop (I tried SportMaxx GT and RT) as they were terrible in the wet and cold.

Zeta Alventi rated 76% while driving a BMW 3 series
Driving on a combination of roads for 500 spirited miles
These tires feel quite grippy around corners and sharper turns, even during rain it never felt like they were about to lose grip while driving around a bendy road. I have never tried them on gravel or any other unpaved road simply because the side wall is a little small and I don't want to get my rims scratched up. But other than that I like these tires, the road feedback is there, sometimes a little too much feedback depending on the road.

Accelera PHI rated 79% while driving a BMW 335i
Driving on mostly motorways for 145 miles
I have only 145 miles on these tires but I had comfort while driving and road noise was little to none.I pushed them to triple digits in the dry and wet and they felt solid.Other than a slight vibration which I suspect wheel balancing could be better, but the tires are decent for the price.

Falken Azenis FK510 rated 87% while driving a BMW 335i
Driving on mostly country roads for 8000 spirited miles
Look no further - so I went with the falken FK510s after extensive research into finding the ideal tyre to replace the god awful run flats from factory - as the FK510s have a superior sidewall construction they provide the support of the run flats without the harsh, alloy cracking downfalls. In terms of grip, wet or dry, excellent, I was running in the 500bhp category and struggled to make the rear slip when new. Bad points - life expectancy isn't great, but not the tyres fault, fronts will last for many many thousand miles but with my sprirted driving, the rears will last around 12 months with every day use, although fully legal tread, I did notice some slip starting to occur at about 60-75% through its life. With that said, I wouldn't buy any other tyre for cars designed with run flats....

Rotalla RU01 S Pace rated 69% while driving a BMW 325d M Sport
Driving on mostly motorways for 30000 easy going miles
They perform great, the price is great. I have had 2 full sets of these tyres now, my biggest issue? I have had 2 of these tyres delaminate! Both on rear tyres and over a year apart, 1 formed a huge bubble in the side wall and the side wall would deform dangerously under cornering, and 1 delaminated on the inner shoulder of the tyre exposing cords and steel belt, the overall wear on that tyre would never have suggested there was an issue. I really liked these tyres, for years. But with these incidents I cannot justify buying them anymore

Aoteli P607 rated 96% while driving a Mercedes Benz C200 Sport
Driving on a combination of roads for 15000 spirited miles
The traction is the benefit of this cheap tyre. Very good choice. The problem is that the side are too soft!!!

Joyroad Sport RX6 rated 74% while driving a BMW 335i
Driving on a combination of roads for 28 average miles
I'm on my second set of these tires. I have a 550hp rwd car and as long as I drive normal, the tires perform well. Under little boost, the tires do break away in the rain and a bit more boost, the tires break away on dry road. They have also lasted a good length of time. I dont track or "spirit" drive with the tires. I have another set of wheels and tires I run for that. For my application, I got my bang for my buck.

Yokohama Advan Fleva V701 rated 50% while driving a BMW 218d Active Tourer
Driving on mostly town for 15000 spirited miles
Dry weather was decently grippy. Wet weather seemed fine as well but I didn’t really have a chance to really try the tires in the wet weather. Wear was shockingly fast. Bought a used car with these tyres on. Had checked the tires thread wear beforehand. Was still meaty. After nearly 3 weeks of 50% city 50% spirited driving, was shocked to find the tires worn to the thread walls possibly due to my wheels not aligned properly/camber was not right. But 3 weeks worn out is too fast even with that reason. Distance covered is merely 1500kms at most.

Accelera PHI rated 43% while driving a BMW 320d msport coupe
Driving on mostly town for 3500 average miles
These tyres provide very little grip in both dry and wet. I have very little confidence in them as I have slid multiple times at very low speeds. The grip in wet weather is particularly bad. So much so that my DTC light occasional blinks when moving from a standstill. That being said, they have a fairly comfortable ride and aren't too noisy.

Nexen N8000 rated 43% while driving a BMW 325i M Sport
Driving on mostly motorways for 8000 spirited miles
I had a sudden burst to my Falken FK510 tyres and it was a late evening. The only nearby workshop with 265/30/19 ready stock is Nexen N8000. Tried them on for 6 months, what I can tell is that this is a budget non-performance tyre. Dry grip is subpar. I have no confidence to go fast in corner like I used to with Bridgestone, Falken FK510 and Continental CSC6. Again, I understand this is a budget tyre but I didn't expect the dry grip to be this bad. Wet grip on the other hand, it is not too bad. So far no aquaplaning in the past 6 months. My advice is to go for a better tyre if budget is not an issue for you. Avoid this tyre at all cost if driving feel and safety at highspeed is your concern.

Triangle SporteX TH201 rated 91% while driving a BMW 320i Coupe e92
Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 average miles
just as good as Run Flats...got a puncture after hitting a pothole in the road, it tore a hole in the outer sidewall. The BMW e92 drove for 26 miles with no air in the nearside rear tyre and got us home...
