Review:
The Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus XL is a versatile all-terrain tire that excels in both on-road and off-road driving conditions. It delivers outstanding traction on various surfaces, including mud, sand, rocks and gravel, while also providing a comfortable and quiet ride on the highway. The tire's durable construction is designed to withstand the rigors of off-road driving, and it comes with a long tread life warranty. Additionally, the Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus XL is certified with the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) emblem, indicating its exceptional snow performance.

My personal experience with the Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus XL has been consistently positive. I have driven on these tires in a variety of conditions, from paved roads to muddy trails, and they have always performed admirably. They provide excellent grip and control, even in challenging situations. I am particularly impressed with their quietness for an all-terrain tire. On the highway, they generate minimal road noise, making for a comfortable and enjoyable driving experience. More than 40 000km good to go for another 10000km.

Overall, the Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus XL is an excellent choice for drivers who demand a tire that can handle both on-road and off-road adventures. Its balanced performance, durability, and quietness make it a standout among all-terrain tires. If you're looking for a tire that can tackle anything you throw at it, the Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus XL is a worthy consideration.

Davanti Terratoura AT rated 80% while driving a Land Rover All new Discovery
Driving on a combination of roads for 15000 spirited miles
These were bought to replace the factory fitted Pirelli 255/55/20 that came on the car. They are noticably louder than the Pirelli tyres, but that was expected as they are a true AT tyre. Benn on the car for 15,000 miles now with a full range of town, country and motorway miles, mixed with offroad use as well. They handle as well as the Pirellis and are far better in the wet. Managed to get some use in the snow and ice this year with them and they did not disappoint, feeling very sure footed. This was the same on a muddy hillside field, with seemingly endless grip. After 15k miles, tyres are down to 7.5mm on the front and 7.8mm on the back, so would expect to see a total of 35k miles before they will need replacing. Overall, a great tyre and better than some of the known AT brands

Yokohama Geolander AT G015 rated 100% while driving a Chevrolet Tahoe
Driving on a combination of roads for 7000 spirited miles
These tires are utterly amazing. I have the LT 10 ply rated tires on my Chevy Tahoe and they actually ride quieter and smoother than the 6 ply passenger tires I replaced them with. I use my SUV both on road and off on gravel roads to and from my cabin. These tires provide the grip and strength I need on gravel and the smooth ride on pavement. You won’t find a better LT tire for an SUV if you value strength with superior road manners.

Continental VikingContact 7 rated 88% while driving a Chevrolet silverado 1500
Driving on mostly motorways for 8000 average miles
Have had these on my truck for 2 years now. Amazingly quiet, great ice/dry grip. No issues with wet grip at all so far. Only thing to note is tire wear. If you have a decent amount of dry/warmer driving these will wear (like any good winter tire) quite quick. Having to have winter tired on from Oct 1 to Apr 30 in the parts of BC i travel through yearly means i do a decent amount of dry/warmish driving. In 2 seasons i have lost 3-3.5/32nds of tread depth out of a starting 10/32nds. Also note my truck is quite heavy and that can only add to the wear (curb weight of 5300 lbs).

Nokian WR G4 SUV rated 99% while driving a Chevrolet silverado 1500
Driving on mostly motorways for 45 spirited miles
One my third set - drive 1500 Silverado's - mostly highway driving, some-offroad, some light trailer towing - long distance. Excellent tire. Last set lasted 45,000 mile - but the centerpede tread wore away outer treads are fine - look new. Trying to locate another set, but they are out of stock everywhere. Too bad for me.
