285/35 20 Tyre Review Highlights

Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 rated 83% while driving a Porsche
Driving on mostly town for 6000 spirited miles
Outstanding dry performance , which is 85% of our winter driving in northern metropolitan cities . The snow and ice is 80% as good as a snow /ice only low performance tire . But with my AWD sedan that is fine . Love these . P285 on back ; P245 on front . I am a car conniseur and could buy any tire period and i choose these . Mine are W rated look for that , though the V rated are great too I am sure .

Bridgestone Potenza Sport rated 93% while driving a BMW M5
Driving on a combination of roads for 4000 spirited miles
Running them on my F90 M5C I have much better steering feel and less under steer on track days. On mountain roads there isn’t much difference to the PS4S or PZ4 I had on before as you can really push the car on public roads, but on the track the grip and feel was amazing

Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 rated 88% while driving a Jaguar XF S
Driving on a combination of roads for 7000 spirited miles
A very good winter tyre, gives you more confidence in the wet and when there is a spell of cold weather. Very good in the wet.

Pirelli P Zero Corsa rated 51% while driving a Chevrolet camaro
Driving on track for 5000 spirited miles
Just when I thought I saw it all..... They cost me a good fortune, but unfortunately, all hype and no action. Pirelli should be ashamed to even attempt to sell this tire for high horsepower applications. Even after extensive tire warm up and correct tire pressure (tried lower as well), this tire is dreadful in warm temp dry weather.. All total bs that this tire is a semi slick tire. I do not recommend for the street and especially not the track. Grip drops off very quickly and if you drive a high horsepower (e.g., over 600 hp) car, don't expect any grip of the line. Its a very hard dry compound. The contrary to what I was seeking. Cup 2s provide triple the traction these do. Stick to cup 2! So disappointed after purchasing these corsa tires.

Pirelli PZero Corsa System rated 47% while driving a Chevrolet camaro
Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 spirited miles
Possibly the worst tire I have ever tried. Dry grip even after extensive warm up is absolutely horrible. If you have a high hp muscle car, stay far away from this tire. You will be very disappointed! Acceleration traction is simply dreadful. Although rated as a semi-slick, any tire can compete with this. I went from a Michelin pilot super sport and it was light years better in dry grip. Again, worst tire ever tested and my advice is to simply stay away from it.

Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT rated 56% while driving a Nissan GT R
Driving on mostly country roads for 8000 average miles
Oem on gtr 2015.. ok for the first 1800 miles then starts to wear the inside wall as they are runflats .. admittedly they are runflats at 127 mph so extremely safe but you pay the price as they wear so quickly.. only lasted 8000 miles and nissan wanted 2500 smackers to replace.. no way! I replaced them with michelin pilot sport 4s.. what a difference.. not nitrogen (i never had to inflate the dunlops ever.. amazing they never lost any pressure in 18 months)..

Dunlop SP Sport 600 DSST rated 60% while driving a Nissan GT R
Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 spirited miles
Great grip in the dry, acceptable in the wet, very good feedback but extremely noisy, they sell them only in Nissan dealership and they are incredibly expensive

Buy again? NO WAY

Stunning tyres, better than the Bridgestones, too bad Dunlop have limited supply to the nissan dealers so you get ripped off buying them. Import them from tirerack in the us, much cheaper!
