Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 Reviews - Page 4

Given 79% while driving a Volkswagen Passat 2.0TDI (205/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 12,000 average miles
Grip, steering precision and comfort are premium-class, but wore out quite quickly (after 20,000km there is still 4 to 5mm left, so it's not too bad). Everything else was great. Driving has been "easy going" mostly, but sometimes I have pushed them harder on curvy country roads and I always accelerate quite fast.

Given 96% while driving a Citroën C Elysee (185/65 R15 T) on a combination of roads for 9,000 average miles
For me it was a very good tyre, on wet road tyre has a good grip, also in dry. Will buy them again.

Given 96% while driving a Toyota Avensis (195/65 R15) on a combination of roads for 0 spirited miles
Best summer tires for my avensis T22 so far, I ride aggressively, not avoiding wet/rain, no complaints, maybe only wear, I marked it for 7, because after 2 summers they are nearly out, hopefully they will survive upcoming summer which would be great, otherwise they are perfect. Will buy them again.

Given 81% while driving a Toyota Yaris (185/60 R15 H) on mostly town for 3,000 average miles
Aside from noise (not quieter, perhaps noisier than OE Dunlop SP 2030) and dubious fuel consumption claims (from our experience, fuel consumption is no better or worse than before), these Bridgestones are very good tyres. Good grip in the dry and wet, and I can actually get some useful road and steering feedback through the otherwise wimpy Yaris steering system!

Given 48% while driving a Nissan Pulsar Ti (195/60 R16) on mostly country roads for 0 average miles
Brand new tyres fitted to Nissan Pulsar 2013. After only 17,000Km the both front tyres had to be replaced. The rear tyres are good for only about another 2,000Km. This is after only 6 months of driving. Very unhappy.

Given 81% while driving a Hyundai Getz (175/65 R14) on mostly motorways for 31,000 easy going miles
I drove with them for about 50.000 km (3 years) mostly on main-roads but also on a variety of other type of roads (all in Greece).
I am very satisfied generally with them. Never had a flat tyre or other malfunction (although I 've fallen on nasty potholes, climbed some pavements etc) which is an important aspect to consider. After all this use they sow their age but they still have some more miles to cover before i replace them. (Only) negative: quite noisy for my taste. Would by again: Yes!

Given 77% while driving a Toyota Corolla (175/65 R14) on a combination of roads for 5,000 spirited miles
Very good in dry and wet, slightly weak under heavy breaking in wet roads. Good aquaplaning resistance, surprisingly good in the snow for an eco 100% summer tire. No noise at all. However, they could be less expensive...

Given 64% while driving a Renault Cilo 1.2 Extreme (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 3,000 average miles
Rode them for 5000km by now in a Clio II 1.2 60hp. Before them i had bridgestone b391, and in comparison this ep150 are much less grippy, specially in the wet. Wouldn't buy again.

Given 30% while driving a Honda Civic Hybrid (225/45 R17) on mostly town for 7,000 easy going miles
I purchased 4 new EP150 last May. I currently drive a Honda Civic Hybrid. Before I put the tires on I could average between 45 to 53 mpg, at the moment we are averaging between 33 to 41 mpg. I took the car to France for a holiday and the best I got out of it was 44mpg. I will not purchase these again.
