Foe trucks and SUV's this is an excelent winter tire that will last longer than many others. I did not stud mine and on trips to Wyoming in winter from Wa. they performed better than ANY tire I've ever owned including several brands I've tried in nearly 500k on my Dodge Cummins 4x4.
They are the only tire I've purchased again! If you go in the ditch with these, you shouldn't be operating a motor vehicle...
