Honda SP1 (190/50 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 2,000 spirited miles
Honda SP1. Pleasantly surprising quick warm up time on these tyres, excellent dry grip and very good in the wet too. These tyres originally came on another bike I own and I was stunned by the level of feedback they provided. They had to go onto the twin. 90mph through a bend over rough surface? They wont budge off the line, but you do feel the surface change through the bars. Its a wonderful feeling when you went through the same section last week and the bike was skittering about. Easily the longest lifespan when compared to the cheaper dunlops, they outlast the bridgestones, I wont comment on Michelins as I just don't get on with them. Tyre pressures are important. Forget about 36/42.. The lovely stiff carcass means you run these babies at 33/33. An excellent tyre, that really proves itself everytime the bike goes through Glen Helen lit up.

Given 73% while driving a BMW F800ST (180/55 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 spirited miles
I'd say these are slightly better than the Dunlop Qualifiers (which are cheaper) but not that much better.
I have these one a F800R that I use to commute and I eventually take it to the mountains to do some nice cornering.
I have other bike (a beaten up CBR600F F3) that I use solely for the purpose of doing questionable public road riding and trackdays so I'm somewhat familiar with riding close to the limit.

The front behaves nicely enough — it does feel very planted and turns in a neutral manner, although with low feedback.
The rear is terrible. Slips way to easily in almost every single occasion when you do something. Coming out of a roundabout and give a good twist? It slips. White lines in the dry? Slip. Off the throttle on a turn while going traffic speed? Also slips. It slips all the time.

When riding fast and getting a knee down, the rear slips so much with the throttle on I'm almost turning supermoto style with the slippage and exiting almost every single corner with the bike nearly sideways, and having the rear dance all over the place on braking zones.

At least it does this in a predictable manner. Admitedly I've been told I look cool doing the whole sliding thing, but this isn't the fastest way to ride a street bike. I'm getting a Pilot Power 3 next or something of the sort.

Given 86% while driving a Kawasaki ZX10r (190/50 R17) on a combination of roads for 5,000 spirited miles
I used these tyres on my 04 ZX10R in all conditions & they performed ok in terms of grip & they have a great profile & carcass. Both the front & rear work well in the dry & although the front works well in the wet the rear let go a number of times in the wet but in a progressive manner so more of a giggle than a sphincter clencher. Michelin Power 2CTs I used last perform better in all conditions but have a softer carcass. I will probably try Michelin Power 3 next but if you ride a 600 or can get a pair cheap SportSmart² are worth a try.
