These tyres are the worstset of tyres i have ever purchased. They cause extreme vibration on the highway and make a lot of road noise. I can't wait to change these crappy tyres!!!

I bought these and at first I thought they were ok but over a little bit of time I find out they aren't. First noticed the lack of any kind of grip in the wet they are truly terrible even at low speeds. I dont drive like an idiot I have two small children with me in the car 90% of the time. Then the more I drive the car in the dry im noticing some lack of grip then too. I paid £120 for 2 of these tyres for my car for the front and I dont think that is cheap for so called budget tyres. The only plus about them is they have a thick side wall so scrapping my alloys is not possible. Overall they are below average and I wouldn't buy them again.

DO NOT BUY THESE TYRES
They are unsafe. Have had these on my 180bhp car for 350 miles and have scrapped them already. They squirm about on the road even at low speed. There is little grip. They are unpredictable too, the response through the steering wheel is diffrent every time you go around the same corner!
Driving above 60mph also brings on chronic steering wheel vibration. Had the wheel balance checked and it was fine. Borrowed the wheels from my wifes car and all was fine with the car... Its the tyres... Terrible, unsafe, shouldnt be on sale!

Had these on my citroen c5 diesel when I bought it second hand. Quite simply the worst tyres I have ever had in twenty years of motoring. Above 40mph they make this incredibly loud whirring noise like a broken washing machine on full spin! Above 50 mph they were so loud I thought the wheel bearing had gone on the car. The mechanic told me that it was the tyres. In terms of grip in dry they were not that good and in the wet as good as deadly. Had them changed for some Barum Bravuris 2 quickly and noise went, car handled and stopped much more safely and steering felt a lot lighter for the change. These tyres are dreadful....no wonder no car manufacturer puts them on their cars as original equipment, imagine the law-suits!!

I have purchased off brand tires before, these are the WORST ever. My stability and traction control kicks on when the car is not being pushed. The sideways are so soft I rather drive a full sized truck with none low profile tires on it. I have to fight to keep the car straight at highways speeds and in a turn I have to always be correcting. The car feel VERY unsafe. I just came off of Contential Dw's on my Modded e46 M3 with full coil overs and wider aftermarket rims. I will be replacing this right a way after about 800 miles. I hate these tires and should have spent proper money on a proper tire.

I bought this car with these tyres on the front, and I cannot wait to get rid of them. When going round corners it feels as if the car is going to slide over to the opposite side of the road or into the ditch.I'm going to fit 'Event' tyres which have a better review and will confirm when fitted (this week)

I've no idea what half of the other reviewers here are doing with these tyres, I bought these to put on a 300hp 4WD celica and while they do lose some grip in the wet obviously, they grip really quite well (better than other tyres I've had at twice the price!) and are progressive when they let go. My problem with them is I go through them approximately every 10-12K miles on the front, 20K on the rear.

I have been using SS595 on my quattro for three seasons about 40 000 miles. Great Wear rate. It is good on dry condition, but not so good in wet.
Because of great noise isolation in Audi I wouldn't say those tyres are that much noisy.
Would buy again.
In winter I use Bridgestone Blizak LM32 winter tyres. Perfect.
In conclusion - great price/quality ratio.

The best thing I can say about these tyres is they appear to last for ever, just to annoy me!! Had them on the rear of my Vectra for 15000miles and they've still got about 6mm on them. Really don't like these tyres at all, they are very noisy (drone) and send every hole in the road right through the car. They seam to grip OK in the dry but I have lost the back more than once in the wet. If I could I would give a minus on 'buy again' as I am replacing them next week with 6mm still on then and saving them for a spare.
