Questions and Answers for the Goodyear EfficientGrip SUV

2016-05-11 - Hi, which Is better for normal use on the road for my Land Rover Freelander TD4 2.2 4x4? : - Goodyear Efficientgrip Suv 235/65 r17 104v m+s. ( E - C - 67db ) - Hankook DynaproHP2 (RA33) 235/65 r17 108v m+s. ( C - B - 70db ) By label it seems to be better Hankook, but by some tests (Auto Bild and others) it seems to be better Goodyear, so i don't understand which Is better. Perhaps they are similar on the same level, so it is preferible Hankook because the price Is lower. Or not? I wait your opinion, thank you. Best regards.

Unfortunately without direct experience of either tyre, like yourself we have to default to user reviews and tyre tests. Both tyres will be excellent tyres, Goodyear are one of the best tyre manufacturers in the world, and Hankook have recently been making some incredible tyres. We suggest reading the reviews and finding the tyre with the balance of performance that suits your driving style and usage.

Top Goodyear EfficientGrip SUV Review

Given 52% while driving a Honda CR V III (225/65 R17) on mostly motorways for 69 easy going miles
1. grip wet and dry road performance are good
2. The performance of the fuel in the 90KM / H no significant difference can reach 16KM / L, but in the dry ground , the speed at 110KM fuel consumption is reduced to less than the speed 12KM / L, wet pavement performance is up to 15KM / L, the overall fuel consumption for the project performance is not satisfactory. increase fuel consumption by 25%.
3. In the comfort of the project , there is no better than the original tire performance , but it is easy to noisy vibration .
4. The wear rate performance is good, but because of an increase of 25 % of fuel consumption , will spend more money on the part of oil resources .

Overall, if both run on a wet road is safe and appropriate , on a dry road surface noise is adversely on fuel consumption and comfort

Honda CRV (225/60 R18 H) on a combination of roads for 35,000 average miles
I have done nearly 56,000km with this set (3 years), every 20,000km I put the front-back and vice versa. Very happy with dry and wet grip, snow grip is relatively poor. They are getting worn now so next set will be an all weather set, since I seldom need the snow grip.

Given 41% while driving a Ford Everest (265/50 R20) on mostly town for 42,000 easy going miles
I have had the New Ford Everest fitted with these tyres and i have some concerns. The car is sitting on 42000 km and they are begining to flake. The handling on the car does concerns me as the grip is not what I expected. Noise level is good, very comfortable drive but on turning corners or slightly curved roads i am careful. I find the rubber compound to soft for the vehicle and as mentioned earlier, flaking is slight.
