Hankook Ventus V12 evo k110 Reviews:

Given 61% (breakdown) while driving a Honda CIVIC 1.6 VTEC (215-40-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 7,000 spirited miles
Dry grip is great in the Heat of summer. these tyres are best when HOT. anything else they just lack the grip needed, wet and cold conditions are a massive weakness for this tyre. id buy something else, looking at higher priced brands. you get what you pay for with this tyre. wear on the tyres is pretty bad im at about half my tyres tread in 7k miles motorway and A roads.

Given 47% (breakdown) while driving a Volkswagen Caddy (205-55-16-V)
Driving on mostly motorways for 10 easy going miles
Good grip in the dry although a tad noisey but then its a van so any tyre is noisey, wet grip is poor and tends to light up the TC when taking off without trying, wet motorway's it doesnt inspire me with confidence, Would i buy again??? probably not.

Given 34% (breakdown) while driving a Hyundai coupe 2.7 V6 (215-45-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 8,000 average miles
I bought these after reading many reviews (as one does these days). But have come to conclusion that they must have been written by employeees of Hamkook, that or I just got a bad set.
Early days they were good, this was in snowy jan when I could barely make it out of the drive (rear wheel drive and traction control)on old tyres.
Generally they were good in the dry and wet (less good in drizzle - not helpful for UK in spring)
However, the wear and the tyre noise after about 2000 miles was appauling and got so bad that I considered changing them before the wear point. They are without doubt the worst I've ever had (that includes factory fitted P6000 on previous cars).
Whether or not they simply degraded with all the salt on the road, which in turn contributes to the road noise I don't know. But 8000 and the rear wheels are already on the limit! And I'm not an especially quick driver for the majority of the time.
Will be going back to Eagle F1's, or may try some Vredstein Ultrac's if I can get hold of a pair.

Given 76% (breakdown) while driving a Mercedes Benz E Class Estate (235-45-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 120,000 average miles
My usual brand was unavailable so I tried these tyres. They perform adequately in all departments. Although relatively inexpensive, they are dearer than my usual brand - so I was expecting them to out perform their cheaper rivals. Didn't happen! They were no better and wore out a whole lot more quickly.

Much better than my last set of tyres (Yokohama parada spec 2's). I would reccommend & buy again.

Driving on a combination of roads for 500 spirited miles
I submitted a reveiw 2010-03-31 .After reading others had good results with these tyres, I thought something must be wrong with my set up.Turned out the gauge on the airline at the garage I normally use was pressurising 4 psi higher than indicated.Grip on par with C drives once pressures adjusted.

Given 84% (breakdown) while driving a Volvo s60 D5 (163) (225-45-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 14,000 average miles
I bought a set of two and fitted them on the front wheels. They wear down a bit faster that michelins and I would blame the car for that to a certain extent (heavy tank and front wheels drive). I've done 14.000 miles and I have just about 4mm left.
It proved to be very good tyre for the price I paid (£85 incl. fitting).
Excellent grip on both dry and wet roads . Good grip when cornering and breaking.
It needs a couple of miles to warm up then the ride is quiet and comfortable . I'd dare to compare it to top brands tyres.
