This the best tyre i ever had. Really good handling in dry and wet. Good aquaplanning reduction effects. Mostly i will change my tyre maximum every 50.000KM, but this tyre still good until more than 60.000. I use it for 3 years until now and still in good condition. My negative comment about this tyre is only about overprice. It's very expensive for non-RFT tyre, almost 2 times than other brands.

I have to say right up front that i regret fitting these tires to my car , having heard many good things about the brand i wanted to try it out and did so without really looking much into it (which i regret now).
I drive a lot on the motorway and these tires as other reviews have said are extremely soft , so much in fact that the car gets easily affected by crosswinds (which mine never did before) , and they have a constant floaty sensation that really does not inspire any sort of confidence , feels like you are driving some sort of barge on a river. As for hard cornering being a soft tire they flex a lot on hard cornering to the point of feeling unsafe again , the grip itself is just ok meaning the car wont really fly off the corner but it sure feels like it will, also on hard acceleration on uneven surfaces like cobblestone streets or something it will just spin and feel really bad. This is not to say this tire is unsafe but it FEELS unsafe , the squirrely feeling on the highway , crosswind sensitivity and such really makes for a white knuckle driving experience.I really want to stress the negatives because really it surprised me having heard all my life that Michelin makes the best tires on the market (the cost sure is up there) , it came as a shock to me how bad they performed when fitted, being a touring tire and all i thought they would excel at highway driving but they in fact did not.
There are however some positives that maybe could work for you , if you exclusively drive on city i don't think they will bother you none, and the wet grip is better than average to be honest , i believe you can get some 40 or 50 thousand kilometers on these tires , being soft they will be comfortable over bumps provided you don't drive fast. The price may be an issue as they are not exactly cheap tires you can just fit and don't feel bad about spending money on it, if you really want to try them out and see what the fuss is about i say wait for a discount as they can be found cheaper sometimes. Maybe some cars will also accept this tire better and feel just fine, maybe it would even be an upgrade for some cars but in my case it really didn't work out.

No complaints about the overall performance. However, despite a 70dB rating, as they wear down they become very noisy on anything less than a very smooth asphalt road surface. Will not buy again for this reason.

They are expensive, but at least they last for a very long mileage. They offer good grip in any road condition,For most aspects a great tyre: very good comfort, silent, great cornering, very good wearing. My problem with them is the vague steering on the motorway, which also makes them more sensitive for crosswinds. Used this primary 4 almost 2 year. Strongly recommend purchase primary 4 plus is much better than primary 4. Just installed three months primary 4 plus in my other family car Elantra .so far so good

They are expensive, but at least they last for a very long mileage. They offer good grip in any road condition, as long as it is not snow/ice. I use them as winter tyres because seeing snow where I live is rare, and they perform decent in the cold (-5ºC/-10ºC aprox). In my case I drive them up to 205km/h (autobahn) no problem, my car does not go much faster. You can definetly push them around corners, but they wont give good feedback. Good wet handling, and very easy to recover after aquaplaning at highway speeds. Nice confort and quiet ride, would recommend for people looking for a nice tyre to do fast driving without getting in too much trouble. Definetly changing them for some pilot sport 5 or simmilar.

Great tyre for comfort and ride but complete rubbish for wear - I got less than 25,000km out of a set and will not go there again at the price Rubbish Michelin

I have driven these tyres for 47k miles in just over two years and they are still legal (just). I will be replacing them soon with the same, as they have proved to be the best tyres I have ever driven on all my cars. They got slightly noisier with wear, but overall much quieter than other tyres I had on the same vehicle. The roads in the UK can have quite rough surfaces, but the road noise is better with these tyres than in all the others I had. The handling is excellent for my needs, as I don't drive the car harshly, but when I needed to break, pull at a round-about, or to make an evasive maneuver, it never let me down. The levels of comfort are also very good, having driven 1,400 miles in two consecutive days across Europe feeling like in a limo.

Driven a total of 1000 km in mild winter, the main thing coming from the previous kleber tyres are the road noise, significantly less, and general confort, which somehow feels softer overall. The dry and wet feel overall better, but aquaplaning is surprisingly not great on these tyres, with slight skips sideways (tiny really, but perceptable in the wet Brittany weather), which, while better than the klebers, was not a big improvement as I had hoped. The road feedback is better than the klebers, still slightly Meh, but fine overall for city, country roads and some highway use. Have to see if these tyres wear out slower than the klebers though.

A lot of wear especially on the shoulder with a sportier ride. High driving comfort, good predictability on both dry and wet surfaces. However grip and stopping times are significantly longer with a worn tyre.

A safe and comfortable tyre with predictable handling. Dry grip is good but does not have a sporty feel. Struggles for grip under full power when wet (instant torque from electric motor!). Tyre noise is fairly low. Good resistance to wear and seems to have low friction which helps electric range.

These tyres came standard on both the Kia Proceed and my parents their DS7. Personally these tyres are not Michelins best work. They handle and grip very good in both dry and wet conditions with good levels of road feedback. But the comfort levels are way below acceptable for a premium tyre! They offer a harsh ride and make alot of noise in the cabin. This while the DS7 has special active scan suspension to even out every little bump in the road and has high levels of sound insulation and layered glass windows! Got rid of the Michelins on the Kia for the CC2. On the DS7 they were wore down after only 10000km! The dealership filed a complain with Michelin because alot of costumers have come in with the same problem.

Overall, Michelins do not disappoint. Have them installed on my 2009 Honda Civic 1,600CC in the above stated size. Dry grip and braking is decent, wouldn’t say they’re extremely good. However, have tried emergency braking in the wet and it disappoints. Wet grip is decent. As an overall touring tyre, this is not a set of tyres for you to fit on and go on spirited driving. Road noise is kept well at bay, tyre compound is soft. Would probably want to try Yokohama/Kumho/Hankook as my next tyre.
