My first experience of Nankang tyres and I have to say I am really pleased. Would normally buy a premium brand but these came on the car and have pleasantly surprised me. If anything the car is “over” tyred as not standard rims but wet or dry it is predictable and sure footed even spirited driving through local lanes which I do regularly as well as many motorway miles. I’m replacing like for Like as the price is incredibly good and I need nothing else from my tyres.

I drive a BMW 5 Series (17 plate) & rear runflats are expensive as I have 19'' wheels. Tried Falkens and was very happy with them but my local garage said try these.....and so far so good. These are big tyres being 275 wide - cost wise £170 each fitted which is very good for Runflats of this size 19''. Drive seems fine / noise, no issues / wet handling not really tested so far but roads were wet this morning and had no problems, they are A Rated for wet so should be ok....wear only time will tell but as I'm retired my days of pounding motorways are over but I still enjoy driving my car and tyres are very very important.......yes you get what you pay for generally but you can also get good value and to date these Nankang's seem good value for money.

feels good everywhere with high speed over 220 kmh the straightrun is not good enough, and i suspect it is because of the (soft) tyres

    Given 60% while driving a Ford Focus ST 225 (2003 2007) (225/40 R18 W) on mostly country roads for 100 spirited miles
Incredibly unstable due to the large water channels in the threads - making the rubber inbetween quite thin/small, and it flex. Very noticeable in high speed atleast and during hard braking, car squirms like a snake. And if road is uneven you have to countersteer for each lean the car makes. (by a small amount of course but noticeable)
Maybe not so noticeable on cars that already have this character due to soft suspension and high profiled tyres etc.

Given 89% while driving a Ford Mondeo Titanium X (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 16,000 average miles
Bought these at half the price of the main brands (my tyre size was coming in around £200 each for most makes).
To be honest, I've notice no difference in handling, grip or stopping ability at all compared to the 2 previous big brands I had.
And so far they've lasted twice as long on the front compared to the last pair.
    Noise levels not bad either.
