2022 ViBilagare Eco vs Normal Tyre Test - 10th of 10 tyres

  • Positive - Good shock absorption and low noise on rough asphalt.
  • Negative - Difficult to control in a crisis situations. Poor braking performance.
  • Overall - Turkish Petlas offers one of the cheapest products you can find online. But Imperium PT515 is NOT an affordable solution. This is like throwing money in the lake. The stopping distance on wet asphalt is a full 10 meters longer than the best tires from 80 km / h.
In the evasive maneuver tests on dry roads, the Petlas tires can’t neutralize the lateral forces but have major problems with the load shift effect, which means that the tire skids wide and becomes difficult to control. On wet roads, it moods alternately between understeer into the curve followed by an oversteer in the middle of the turn.
Budget tires often fitted on older, cheaper cars with poorer crash safety. It is a life-threatening combination. Save money on something other than the tires.

Given 70% while driving a Renault (205/65 R15) on mostly town for 20,000 average miles
Good noise and shock absorption, way better than my old michelin green X. Grip is pretty good from getgo before they warm up compared to others I used, but only serviceable in rain. Fuel consumption is more compared to green x, but i exclusively drive in start stop traffic so not really noticeable in my use case.
For hard cornering its way better than green x's but thats not saying much considering those are eco hypermiling tires.
I got them for a pretty good deal, and they are available in some of the hard to find sizes, which was why I bought these.

using since 2 years in istanbul Turkey , i had no big expectations before buying but durabiliy is so good therefore dry road grip is very good . also tyres are poverfull against for bad quality village roads for summer season , Comfort is leak but handling on asphalt is good for me .and tyre performance speed till 170 km/h on highway is good . i am not using tyres in winter season for a long time .

Given 87% while driving a Hyundai Accent (195/60 R15 V) on mostly motorways for 55 average miles
Used them for 88,000 kms and has to change them because of uneven wear on 1 tyre. Haven’t reached wear indicators yet. Handling for wet & dry in the tropics under everyday normal conditions is very good. Best economical tyres in my book. I replaced them with exactly the same tyres. Highly recommend these.

Given 83% while driving a Fiat Grande Punto 1.4 8v (185/65 R15 H) on mostly town for 5,000 average miles
For six years I’ve been using these tyres. And stil looking good ( I used it only 12,000 km’s) I’m about to change them to 4 seasons tyres for my conditions. I am not an agressive driver and never had a problem with these tyres even wet.

Wet performance is not very good . The tyre grips on dry ground and the braking is good, but as the rubber ages, these properties also disappear .
