I've had the opportunity to sample various tyres over the years, ranging from BT015's and others, Pilot Pures, Pilot Power 2CT's, Pilot Road 2's...and recently Pirelli DRC's.
While I love the Pilot Power 2CT tyres, I cannot express in enough words my total satisfaction in the Pirelli DRC's !
At just on 6,500 miles to date (~10,000km), the middle of the rear tyre is borderline legal, with extremely even wear from middle to either side evident, as marvelled by several bike service centres recently. These tyres (DRC's) have provided me with immense confidence both in the dry AND the wet.
They provide quick tipping-in to corners with supreme levels of grip. On a recent interstate ride, they displayed great handling qualities with VERY spirited riding in standing water conditions, heavy showers and uneven, bumpy road surfaces - the latter unplanned, of course !
I cannot recommend these tyres enough and very shortly will be replacing these with the same brand. Congrats Pirelli on producing a magnificent tyre.

Running on a 55 ZX12R Modded to 195bhp, use everyday for 30 mile round commute come rain or shine, also 'Weekend Blasts'..
These tyres are very very good, have run many different tyres over the years and not much comes close in terms of Grip V Wear. Great while 'Getting Down' to the edge with the triple compound, and gave me an amazing 3700m rear and 5000m front, even with all the grunt of the 12. Wet I would say pretty good but the front a little 'vague', so i don't tend to push it too hard. Prior to these tyres i was on Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's and these are better in my opinion...

Only done about 500 miles so far, so too early to rate sensibly for wear, so ignore that rating! Fitted in British February weather (SE). Plenty of wet, cold rides and these tyres have really impressed in marginal conditions. Very good progressive feel leaning into and through bend. Can't wait for some sun and first track day!

I used this tire and road circuit, I can say is that in the dry is quite good, obeys and a good safety parameters which gives good inclinations in both the bike lane, like on the road and running already with some will handle. As for the wet did not like the tire because I think it takes to heat and not enough confidence to lean the bike, not to mention that life is to enter into a skid.
How to wear is good I ended up with the tire more quickly because I did two track days with it, I think if I had only been on the road would have lasted about 6000km or more.
Conclusion, I consider a good tire for the summer and for those who want to have a sporty driving on the road as well on the track.

Haven't had them in the wet so I am guessing, the same with wear. I have however done a few miles and loved them. I was going to buy the Dunlop sportsmart thinking that the Pirelli's would be to hardcore but they're not they warmed up quickly and the duel compound gives confidence in the corner. They are quick to turn in and feel plush from the off. The drop into corners was quicker and more progressive than my last tyres. These are very sticky tyres and I love the levels of grip they are giving. Don't know what they will be like in the bad weather but I don't intend to find out. I would definitely recommend these tyres Bike magazine was right in giving them four stars (there is no 5 star). They also look good on the bike. I would buy these again and I am happy I didn't get the Sportsmarts.

Dry weather performance is great. The bike holds corners really well improving stability in corners, just lean is far as you want on my ZX6r. Tyres take a a few minutes to warm up but once given them a little work out the grip levels are exceptional, a step up from the Battleaxe BT016 I normally run. The front is especially progressive and feedback great, can feel exactly what the front is doing without worrying about it giving out completely when right on the limits of adhesion. The front and back tyre complement each other well. More comfortable than I was expecting soaking up bumps well without loosing feel, this maintains confidence especially on bumpier roads. The bike feels more stable. However this can make it tempting to go into corners TOO fast. Wear rates I am unsure on at the moment. The grip levels I have experienced are better than expected so a track day in warm weather will be a great treat. One other thing of note is that the power transfer to the road feels very good. I am impressed with this tyre but you will need to work it hard before it works hard for you, then riding fast is effortless.
