  • Positive - The wet specialist amongst semi slicks. Dynamic and sporty driving qualities on wet and dry roads make the Trofeo almost an all rounder. Thanks to precise steering and good feedback, the slight bias towards oversteer is still easy to control
  • Negative - Average aquaplaning qualities

2012 Sport Auto Track Day Tyre Test - 1st of 5 tyres

  • Overall - The best balance of wet and dry performance on test. A very manageable tyre in the dry, when pushed the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo reacts with a little understeer. Strong rear stability in both the dry and wet.

Top Pirelli P Zero Trofeo Review

Given 60% while driving a Ferrari F430 (225/35 R19 W) on track for 100 spirited miles
It feels softer overall than the Pirelli Corsa Semis. It's dry grip ist excellent and seems to have a tiny advantage over it's predecessor. I cannot really tell about wet grip, since I didn't go to the limit. But don't be fooled, it wears out very quick! I had them mounted factory new on my Ferrari F430 and planned to have fun all day in Mugello. After a couple fast laps, it started to overheat despite proper pressure. Soon after, I got back to the pits with completely worn out front tyres. The mechanics have never seen something like that before. I want the Corsas Semislicks to come back!!
