Replaced Bridgstone Potenza with these tyres. Noise rating of 66dbs have transformed the quietness. Wonderful purchase, although somewhat difficult to get hold of. Quentin Wilson said on tv that nobody buys tyres for noise rating - absolute rubbish!

I don't buy tyres based on name but even if you do consider that these are made on licence from Goodyear so have to be better than equivalent price Chinese tyres. Replaced all 4 tyres at HiQ for a cost of less than £200 nearly 3 years and over 30,000 miles ago. Just had a second puncture but contemplating replacing with same. Never had any grip problems (wet or dry) and I've done a lot of motorway driving. Excellent value.

Fitted a par of these on the front wheels of my Xsara 1.4 hdi as I needed a new par asap. These tyres were the "best buy" on the market. Made in Slovenia but under the licence of GoodYear who owns them together with Fulda (also found out that some Sava tyres are made in Germany and that also some Fulda tyres are made in Sava's Slovenian factory). When I bought them they were only 2 months old as DOT stated.

I thought they would be ok for daily use, and they were, also when used in winter conditions with temperatures around 0'C. Dry and wet grip, comfort, wear etc. were good but after first 12 months the rubber got stiffened and it became very dangerous to drive. Now they are extremely dangerous on wet roads as the rubber got plastificated like it's 10 year old tire.

I would buy them again only if they would be fitted on the front wheels no longer than 12 months (when brand new) or fitted on the rear wheels for daily "town" use.

The plus side is if I can say so, that they are hard to wear out due to "plastification".

OK, so i know i am not driving a sports car. However these tyres are far far
superior to the rubbish chinese tyres that were on the vehicle when i purchased
it. Even found my fuel ecomeny going up. Reasonably priced European tyre, will
definately purchase again.

baddest tyres i've ever had on my car.. and dangerous too, absolutely no grip

I bought 2 of these for the front of my car during the heavy snow in December 2009, I chose them as they have a huge chunky tread pattern and they were ?60 fitted (each) at a local garage. They transformed my torquey 2.0 diesel Octavia from a side slewing moron into a driveable car again, for the money at the time, they were perfect. 6 months and 8000 miles later they are lasting very well, its not the most dynamic tyre I've ever used and don't handle particularly well on country roads during 'spirited' drives, but the soft sidewalls are comfortable on long runs and with over 6mm of tread remaining I am looking at around 25,000 out of them on the front. Happy to buy these again.

Fitted a couple of these to front of my Avensis d4d estate as they were cheap as required asap.
Found that side wqalls are very thin and soft.
Grip not to bad, wear rate good for a cheap tyre.
For the price very good as it keeps you legal on the road,For budget concerned motorist a good buy but dont expect these tyres to be as good as say Kumho or Falkens which are worth the exra cash.Never the less would fit again if strapped for cash.

Had bought a set of 2 for front wheels as I needed new rubber asap and as cheep as possible. Went for Sava (kind of domestic brand). They are quite soft and comfortable. If you're looking for solid tires and drive mostly in town look no further. They are great tires for affordable price. But, if you drive spirited and do lot of miles on highways go for a top brand tires.

These were fitted to the car (front only)when I bought it second hand, and although there was plenty of tread left, I couldn't get rid of them fast enough. When I tried to accelerate from a standing start, I found the wheels scrabbling and the nose of the car waving all over the place. No grip at all. Cornering was a nightmare, as was braking. And that was on a dry road. I'll leave the wet to your imagination, but as I drive a lot, including on German motorways(120mph plus), they had to go. Since I've fitted the Bridgestone Turanzas I usually use, the car goes the way it's supposed to. Never, ever fit Sava tyres to anything except an ox cart.

This tyre is absolutely lethal in the wet. Fitted to the rear of my car it would oversteer badly at the slightest lift of the throttle.
It is also noisy and doesn't communicate well.
Made by Goodyear? Obviously not to their specifications.
