Good Tyres, grip is fantastic in the dry and wet! They do NOT react well to snow however, especialy when they are well worn, very little grip then.
Only lasted 7500 miles on the front. I'm not an aggressive driver, but I do enjoy a spirited drive every now and again. Don't seem to react well to motorway miles either.

Find these an excellent overall tyre for a reasonably powerful RWD car, dry grip is good though not as precise as the F1 for feel or steering accuracy, they don't flat spot overnight.
Wet grip is very good, no wheelspins or slides at all since fitting, steering and handling give confidence.
I use winter tyres so cannot comment on cold weather use.
Wear rate seems fair so far.
They have a downside, heavy road roar and the ride is hard, however the competent grip especially in the wet makes up for that.
I would buy these again.

For the price a superb buy for the HIGHER performance vehicles. I have had most makes of performance tyre and non can touch the T1R - admittedly I only get around 8k out of a set, but that says something for the grip. Always replace all four is the trick to superb grip, feedback and general stability. Those who say this tyre is no good have absolutely no idea! That said it may depend on the car and the way it is set up, get it all right and these tyres will provide endless fun.

These tyres are overrated simple as that, and they dont last very long, they do look nice however with the tread pattern and I know why these are still classed as budget cos they are poor.

These tyres tend to be to soft on the side walls and makes the car squirm under braking
In dry conditions on the track i found them not as good as the conti sports which had 12,000 miles behind them
As for the wet weather plenty of slide in them which i did not want
Wear rate of the T1r,s is ok in the fact that the car gets a lot of peddel

I had a set of (205/50ZR16) T1Rs on my last classic scoob. After four sets of Bridgestone Potenza RE-050 I was amazed how much sweeter the Toyos were. Not as hot and blu- tac-y on perfect sun drenched tarmac, but better everywhere else, especially in the cold, damp and very cold - i.e. where it matters. I'd rotated several sets of the 'stones to extract 20K per set, but the Toyos were heading towards at least 25K miles when I sold the car. I've lived with Potenza RE-070 on my hawkeye STI scoob for 21,000 miles now, and finally had to replace them - with a set of (215/45ZR17) T1R's. It's like coming home. The grip is there, but now the ride is plush, the road roar is gone and I can finally hear the turbo spooling up. Quiet, efficient, consistent, long lasting, brilliant, and cheaper too!

Bit of a mixed bag with these. T1-Rs have had more positive than negative reviews, so after a long search opted for these. I've heard all the fuss about soft walls but I believe this has been rectified?? Excellent grip in the dry, always aware of where the limit is. Wet performance seemed to reduce after about 6k miles. Still 6mm on the back and 5mm left on front after 8k. No tail-out experiences in wet or dry. Would imagine I'll get about 12k before replacing the fronts - for a FWD turbo car, I can live with that, and for the price will definately buy again.
