Toyo Tranpath Reviews

Given 53% (breakdown) while driving a Mazda Premacy (195-55-15-V)
Driving on a combination of roads for 9,500 easy going miles
Fairly average tyres for the price which is a shame really, seeing as my last set (Avon ZV3's) lasted nearly 12000 miles and were over £20 cheaper per tyre. This set has lasted nearly a year but having done only 9500 miles of pootling around the hills of Yorkshire, limited motorway miles and I am a fairly careful driver around the hills, I feel a little cheated, even more so when you consider the cost of them - fitted May 2010, replaced March 2011.
I will post another review of the replacement tyres, of which I will be choosing another set again, needless to say they are NOT made by Toyo!

Given 81% (breakdown) while driving a Toyota RAV4 (215-70-16-)
Driving on mostly motorways for 28,000 spirited miles
These are the Toyota RAV4 4x2 original tyres, as sold in Greece.
Their grip in dry and wet tarmac is impressive, esp. given the RAV4's weight.
They're not much help if there's slippery mud on the tarmac, they seemed to me decent in light snow and average on ice. They're certainly no winter tyres.
The wear isn't too bad either, they look like they have another 10k in them.

Given 73% (breakdown) while driving a Nissan X Trail 2.2 DCi Sport (215-70-16-S)
Driving on a combination of roads for 10,000 average miles
Good tyre in the dry, not so sure in the wet. Doesn't seem to lose grip in the cold which is a plus.
