I have replaced as set of Toyo tyres and it was a bad choice. Front wheels spin very easily during acceleration on 1st gear (128 hp engine). They supposed to be rain tyres but on wet they reach their limit very quickly. I have also noted increased fuel consumption in comparison to Uniroyal predecessors. Can't comment on wear as I have done about 2k miles so far.

Wow what tyres put these on the family civic 5 door and noticed a difference instanlty car feels as if it is glued to the ground now and much smoother ride with less road bumps jolting the whole car.
Highly recommend this tyre and will be fitting the uniroyal rain sport 2 to my bmw 320ci convertible as they are that good.
do not hesitate buy these asap. i read some negative reviews on these tyres but thank god i went with my instincts. camskills has them on for £50 each and they cost a tenner each to put them on the car, cant go wrong :-)

I think my star ratings speak for themselves however I cannot answer the question about how long they last as I have only had them a short period of time. I normally opt for the big players in tyres as safety is important when you have a heavy right foot, but I can say that these tyres are the best performing I have ever used. If they last a few thousand miles as well I will be a very happy man!

Good tyre for the money, excellent wet weather performance, wear was a slight dissapointmentbut over all feeling of safety makes up for this.
Fitted to a Skoda Fabia 1.9 TDI, 20000 miles sees the front tyres needing replaced but this has been much country roads and I am a fairly spirited driver. Over all I would recommend these tyres to others and I will be fitting them again to my car.

Fitted two tyres two years ago on the front replacing Michelins on recommendation from my local independent garage who I have used for several years.
Firstly noticed how much quieter they were, the grip in both dry and wet conditions has been excellent, wear is good still 5mm tread left.
Have just had them put on the rear with two new ones, the same tyre on the front so now the same make all round and very satisfied with grip, noise and wear.

I was swayed into buying these tyres from the reviews on this site. I regret this decision. I'm not a racer boy and tend to drive carefully but I'm also willing to put my foot down on a wide clear road.
It seems most of the reviews on here are comparing the tyres to budget and low end tyres. My previous tyres on this car are Michelin Primacy HP and Bridgestone Potenza RE050, neither of which could be considered low end. The bridgestones were good, the Michelins were superb, these uniroyals are terrible.
All my tyres were nearing the end of their lives so I got 4 of these and immediately noticed the difference. They have changed the car so much I started obsessively checking the tyre pressure and have even had the tracking rechecked (its near perfect).
Dry Grip:
These tyres have very soft side walls and while that means they have softened the slightly harsh ride of the civic, it also means that they make the car wallow around corners and understeer has increased dramatically, to the point where going around a dry roundabout at low speed now causes slight understeer. I dread to think how these will perform in emergency manoeuvres.
Wet Grip:
The wet grip is only slightly worse than in the dry, but the grip in the dry is so bad that it isn't much of a praise.
Road Feedback:
The soft side walls also mean I can feel a lot less of what is happening on the road making me constantly feel detached from the road surface - not a good thing. This also means that when to car does understeer, its harder to feel where the grip is and pull out of it.
Progressiveness:
The grip when accelerating compares poorly to my old Michelin tyres but as I said, I'm no racer boy and its still acceptable.
Wear:
I want these to wear out so I can replace them but unfortunately they seem to be wearing ok. I've so far done around 2000 miles on them and they still look fairly new.
Comfort:
As i said before, the soft side walls do soften the ride of the civic which is known to be slightly harsh so I'd have to give them a good rating for ride comfort.
Economy:
This is probably the most damning thing about these tyres. I normally get around 40 to 42 mpg on my commute to work however I am now struggling to keep it above 38 mpg. The economy changed as soon as I had the tyres fitted and my journey has not changed at all. I was so shocked I even had the tracking rechecked at a different garage but it came back as near perfect. This means that if these tyres last me 20,000 miles at current petrol prices (£1.35/litre) then they will cost me around an extra £236 in petrol and I only saved about £100 by fitting these over my previous Michelins.
Summary:
If I can't really afford it right now but as soon as I can I'm having these replaced as they feel unsafe and have much worse grip than my previous tyres. If you want increased comfort, don't care about fuel consumption and never plan on turning a corner then they may be worth it, otherwise AVOID.
