Vredestein Quatrac 2 Reviews

Given 96% (breakdown) while driving a Vauxhall Vectra (215-55-16-V)
Driving on mostly country roads for 29,000 average miles
Faultless performance on my Vauxhall Vectra C, 2.0 diesel. Never slipped once, in 3 winters. Bought 4 tyres 29,000 miles ago, mostly dual carriageway motoring. The front two are due for replacement now, and the grip is just as good, unlike the Mitchlins previously, which skidded when down to the wear level. Noise level a tad higher than expected, but I would rather have grip and good mileage that worry about a fraction higher road noise. Had quite a few punctures when new, but haven't had any since their started to wear down(touch wood). Might try Quatrac 3, as this is another all season tyre.

Driving on a combination of roads for 20,000 spirited miles
I purchased the wrong size for my vehicle, however, after 20,000 my only real complaint is the lack of rolling resistance they have. Being an all-season tire I've lost gas mileage because of this and they tend to hold you back. Wet traction has also suffered slightly since new but not enough to mention really.

Driving on a combination of roads for 31,000 spirited miles
My daughters car.
We put a set of these on it when she bought it, mainly for their all season capability as we were just going into winter.
Superb as with every Vredestein tyre i've used, and excellent value too.
The girl drives like the devil himself and the tyres have done everything asked of them, being thoroughly competent in all weathers including ice and snow.
The amazing thing is that having covered 31000 miles on them in 18 months the fronts still have 4mm tread depth and the rears 5mm...these were swapped front to rear about 8 months ago, i shall swap them over again to even out the wear but fully expect 35+K out of them....will definately buy these or the newer Quatrac 3 again.

Given 85% (breakdown) while driving a Nissan Note SE (165-55-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 15,000 average miles
Bought these as the standard Bridgestones Nissan fit were useless in snow/ice, (I live on edge of Pennines)and near worn out after 12000 miles
Huge improvement in traction and control under braking, too early to comment on wear but had to do some long motorway trips and found them quieter than bridgestones.
