Writing about the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 given 94% (225-45-17-)

I've never used a better tyre than the ps2, They have so much grip, I've driven on tracks with single seater racers and these are the only tyres that get close to that amount of grip, Best tyre out there.

Fitted 4 of these to a Alfa 156 GTA. Initially I thought they lacked a bit of grip but after a few hundred miles of scrubbing the finish off them they are very good for both dry and wet grip levels. They are also very quiet and comfortable, maybe a little too comfy for some, there is more isolation from road imperfections then you would get with, say, a Goodyear F1, or Michelin PS2. As a so called mid-range tyre, they easily embarrass many high end ones, but at an unbelielevably good price. As others have said, no brainer.

Very good, but wear quickly on the front wheels. Probably because it's a 250BHP FWD.

Very good grip levels in dry and wet, 'though I would rate them behind the Michelin PS2 I had previously. Under hard acceleration, they can squirm about quite a bit, something I've not experienced with other tyres.
