Alfa Romeo MiTo Tyre Review Highlights

Will have to disagree with the previous review - very good grip in the dry, but have also found that grip in wet/snow is good too.
During a VERY hard winter in the north of Scotland, my little MiTo was the only car able to get out of our street - great grip on compacted snow/ice.

Great handling in the corners (lots of 'spirited' runs into the countryside), and gives good road feedback.
I've had 20,000 miles out of my front pair, and the back's are only halfway worn.
Can't argue with that - great tyre for the price, and will be buying again!

Good grip and feedback, driven alot of motorway miles but also driven harder over country roads. Tyre wear is very poor,on front tyre, done 30k miles and having to buy third set of tyres on second set at the back.

Driving on mostly town for 8000 spirited miles
Very good grip on hot and dry roads, average on wet, useless on snow. They wear out very quickly!

Hard compound which is difficult to warm up so in short distances or slow speeds grip is not ultimate. However when warm grip is very well and the response is immediate. In the wet they are underperforming. I will change them in a few months either for the Goodyear Assymetric or Michelin Sport. The only reason to buy them again is because they are a good and trustworthy alternative. But I think there are better options in the market.

Shocking rubbish. The we're fitted by Chris Variava in Nottingham to save a couple of quid. These tyres are simply dangerous. The traction control light on the car will remain lit up to 60 mph in the wet. I've binned them with 80% of the tread left - my life and that of my family is worth more than saving the price of a tank of fuel. A traction rating of A versus a premium tyre of AA just demonstrates their limitations.
