Audi A4 1.9 TDI Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Continental Premium Contact 6 given 90% (225-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 15000 spirited miles
Very good tyre for average speed driving and extreme driving, not much comfort, but it has an excellent grip on wet and dry, good performance for braking, a little bit noisier than a Michelin.

This tyre is just a good average tyre, I have been use 205/55/15 on my audi a4 b5 with 116ps and this tyre i doesn't show me some awesome perfromance what and i don't have expected. After 2 years of using the tyre is losing their performance for grip on wet and comfort.

Driving on a combination of roads for 12500 average miles
Very good on dry. Not bad cornering and impeccable handling, the Uniroyal rain sport 5 is consistently great in the wet and in the snow, the tyre is a little less convincing when pushing it to the limits but provides sufficient safety

Driving on a combination of roads for 12000 average miles
These tyres have been exceptionally poor value, worn to almost within legal limits after 15 months and less than 120000 miles when one had suffered a sidewall failure. Grip has been “ok” in the dry and almost dangerous in the wet, although they were relatively quite and ride quality seemed ok compared to the tyres they replaced however the lack of grip, vague feel and extremely poor wear mean I wouldn’t consider buying them again. I am much happier with the (similarly premium prices) tyres that have replaced these.

I've been absolutely amazed by the performance of these tyres on my Audi quattro. The grip is excellent even on wet or snowy roads, they handle well and lasted a long time. Brilliant value.

Driving on mostly town for 500 average miles
These tyres came with a set of wheels I bought for my Audi. Absolute HORRIBLE tyres, when I put them on I immediately felt negative feedback from them and knew they was rubbish. In the wet pulling away they do nothing but spin unless I pull off very gently, going around islands in the wet can be dangerous because they can and will slide out if going at a steady pace (I had to slow right down on islands). They have a nasty habit of tram lining as well, never really had this problem before but after fitting different tyres this issue is non existent again so they definitely tramline on certain surfaces. They are reasonable in the dry but nothing special, they are also fairly quiet. I thought I scored a bargain with these because they had over 4mm of thread but removing them was the best think I did. Removed after sub 500miles

Tyres grip really well in the dry, but in the they feel a bit loose. I had them fitted in a audi a4 and have them for 15k km and they have 4.5 mm letf in them. Overall they are a pretty good tyre would totally buy again.

I have General 365 tyres for over one year and all I can say, they are great tyres.
Wet grip is fantastic on wet UK roads, great feedback even if suddenly aquaplaning if you suddenly hit deep puddle. Let's face it if you are going to fast on deep sudden puddles there is no tyre which wouldn't struggle with disposing water efficiently. Unfortunately in UK we have lots of rain and deep puddles, especially on countryside.
Most importantly these tyres allowing you controlling vehicle even on very wet surfaces.
In winter condition (no snow but temp below 7C) grip is great. You can easy perform quick test of emergency breaking and you'll be very surprised like myself how much actually grip they give you. Very happy.
In 2018 winter-snow condition, I have to say they took me out from even deep snow, where lots cars struggle on summer tyres.
Over all highly recommending.
It's wort to add that after 14k miles still 5mm remaining on FWD(front axle) car. I hope they will rich 20k miles which is great for mid size FWD car driven 90% on country roads(accelerating braking).

Have them only 3 months and done about 4000 km.So far so good.like I have 18 inch wheels but comfort it's very good tyres are very quiet and comfortable for every day driving. My car is tdi so not going on the track but I think they are not for track because they are little bit to soft compound.
