I have been just using UR2, on an Audi2.0, for three weeks and about 400km, only on dry roads but I can only say that I drove through the roundabout/traffic-circle in 70km/h without any problem and I actualy think that I could do that in 80km/h too, it feels like I could do enything on these tyres.
We'll see when it comes some reain I can hardly wait till then.

This is the third set replaced using this tyre. I get 18K miles out of each tyre on A road commute. Very quiet and comfortable drive in all weathers.

I replaced my Contis contact2 with Michelin PS3. The contis were awful. It dores not have good grip, It drifts to the left and too noisy.
PS3 are the best tires I've ever tried even comparing to Dunlops MAXX TT and Pirelli Neros.
PS3 changed my car's handling completely. It grips perfectly during rain and dry and it does not drift any longer. I did not even have to do wheel alignment. The cost is well worth the results !!!
Don't mess with other tires, just but Michellin all the time !

I bought a set of the Altenzo Sports Comforter tyres having done a bit of research. Dont be fooled by the price. These tyres are as good as tyres at nearly twice the price. The company is new but built on solid foundations, and these tyres have many attributes missing on the budget tyres (silica compound, assymetrical rather than directional, A rated grip etc.
I took a gamble as I would normally fit Michelins but at £267 for four tyres fully fitted rather than £670 for Michelins I decided it was worth a gamble. I have to say I dont regret it one bit. The tyres grip as well, are as fuel efficient and are much quieter. They might not last as long but who cares at that price. (Michelins only lasted 13000 miles) So far I have covered 3500 miles and the tyres still look like new with hardly any wear (still 7+mm left).
Worth buying now because as soon as Altenzo become established the prices will rocket. A few years ago Kumho were cheap, now they are more expensive than a lot of 'Premium' brands.

These tires seem to be a good match for my car given the bigger cost and similar performance of the standard ContiSports that came as standard fit with the car.
I had 3 sets of the Ventus S1’s:
1st of two on the front replacing worn Conti’s
2nd set of two on the front, moving the half worn fronts , after doing about 9k on these, to the back
3rd set of 4 after both the front and rears are on about 2mm, done 40k on the rears! and about 20k on the fronts
This is my experience:
Positives:
Excellent grip in the dry
Low rolling resistance
Good feedback
Managed to drive in the Jan snow with about 3-4 mm on thread left!
Good acceleration and braking
Negatives:
When getting down to 2-3mm I started experiencing some tram lining
Slightly skittish in the wet when down to 2-3mm but still safe
Noise level increase when worn down from 3mm onwards
Given I have s-line suspension and the tyre is side-wall reinforced I can’t comment on comfort. In general a very good tire for the price, given the extra price on premium brands and similar or worse wear and performance than the Hankook’s, then these are a sensible buy.
Prices are rising as these are becoming standard fit on a lot of new cars. Will by these again but are starting to look at Vredensteins if prices are continuing to go upwards.

Not really a tyre buff myself so can't comment on the specifics in detail but just felt tyres did not have great grip. I drive a late model Audi A4 2.0T and am based in Brisbane, Australia so weather here is mostly dry and warm 9 months of the year. Summer months are hot and balmy with tropical rain periods. Being a front wheel drive, when accelerating with a bit of keeness, traction control nearly always kicked clearly feeling the tyres could not grip enough for this car (in the dry). In the wet, never felt unsafe but drove more cautiously knowing heavy acceleration would not be pretty from the lights. Maybe this has something to do with being a front wheel drive causing the front to lift slightly, hense loosing traction - I'm not sure but I am putting a full set of Michelin Pilot Sport PS3's on tomorrow so will be sure to give 'em a good test. Being a 1st time reviewer, I'll do my best to come back in a few weeks to provide comparison. Also, I've rated tread wear as average but again, I may be a little harse as it may be the way the tyres are aligned/balanced (I really have no clue) but they are worn heavily on the outside edge - mates say they look almost bald (all tyres - changed front to back 6 months ago) but there seems to be plenty of tread on the inside. Have acheieved 35,000klms (24k miles)which I consider poor to average as I got over 70,0000klms from an earlier car (Subaru Liberty) and my last Audi 1.8T I traded after 3 years, just under 50,000klms (33k miles)with the original tyres (unfortunately can't remember brand). Think I had Michelins of some sort but I know this is bit of a nana car and all wheel drive so clearly going to be less aggresive on tyre wear. What I do find interesting about the Potenza tyre is that even though I know nothing about tyres, I never really liked the feel or how they handled - which seems to be supported by the many reviews on this site, which would include a lot of people who do know something. Heading into Xmas, wishing everyone safe driving.

I bought these tyres to replace the original Bridgestone Potenzas which were factory fitted to my Audi A4. The Good Year tyres had the same specification but turned the Audi from a sharp handling car to one that felt like a jelly on wheels. Trying different pressures, from recommended to higher, did not provide any improvement. Road feel was non existant and the handling was unpredictable at both high and low speeds. The only advantage was a slight, but noticeable reduction in road noise and ride. I do not reccommend these tyres on a performance car. Have replaced them after 2 weeks.
