Absolutely one of the best tires on which I rode. I tried all major brands, as well as those less familiar. I'm mid range aggressive driver and I'm more than thrilled absolutely with this tire. It's beyond my expectations. The only one small drawback it's rubber consumption. I drive a BMW E60 and rear tires are eaten for 20000 km. Front may still so 15000 km or more... All in all, all praise and recommend it to everyone. Congratulations Barum!

Tried these on the rear of my 535D M sport and was surprised how well they worked for a budget tyre, although in the wet trying to get 270bhp onto the road isn't easy but these tyres cope ok, not brilliant but you get enough feedback to allow you to alter your driving style.
If you are looking for a budget tyre (I paid £110 each) they are fine but the wear is not great, have done maybe 7000 mls on them and they very soon need changing.

Driving on mostly country roads for 4000 spirited miles
This tyre performs well in wet and dry better than OEM Potenza. Given the torque this car produces then the tyre is getting pushed. You get plenty of warning when things are starting to loose it. I think I will get 8k out of these which is much better than previous Hankook v12 which only did 5K. Its a good all round performance tyre and I would buy again

Driving on mostly motorways for 6000 easy going miles
Put these on 535d for mostly mororway driving as an experiment. Quite frightening in the wet, the car feels as if it could slide off the road at any speed at any time; I'd hardly ever seen the traction control light come on prior to fitting these now it's a regular occurrence even when it is just damp! Consigned to the bucket.

wanted some winter tyres for my remapped BMW 535d.
without these the car was all over the place on wet roads.
with the tyres what good fun to drive again.

Crap especially in wet , make the car very tail happy / scary, cant be compared to the michelin pilot sport or goodyear asymmetrics i had before , on the upside they are a quiet tyre and comfortable on the road, buti cant live with the lack of grip , i will be changeing these soon, even though i have only had them for a few months

These tyres performed well in the dry even on a heavy diesel but as soon as the road got damp they were a bit skitterish when thrown into a few a few corners, still aceptable levels of grip but not as good in the wet as they are in the dry.

Writing about the Falken ZE912 given 90% (225-50-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 spirited miles
I just put a set of Falken ZE912 on my BMW 535d, replacing the OEM Bridestone run-flats. Ignoring the change from run-flats to normal tyres (which produced a massive improvement in ride quality and noise, vibration and harshness - why do BMW fit them!?!) I've noticed significantly increased grip in the current cold damp conditions. The sidewall is obviously softer than the run-flats and you can feel a very slight delay on turn-in, but the grip levels and feedback mid-corner are much improved. The handling doesn't seem to have suffered at all and these tyres do seem to be particularly quiet. For a tyre to out-perform the OEM fitment at much less than half the price makes them a certain choice when they need replacing.
