Citroën C Elysee Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Barum Bravuris 5HM given 72% (195-55-16-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 average miles
Considerably softer rubber than average. I drive a car with possibly the worst sound insulation of the 202th decade but these tyres make it tolerable. Slightly lacking firmness as weather gets hotter: road feedback is squishy/late but holds on after weight balance is maintained. Not unsafe but definitely not suitable for harsh maneuvers. Slippage is controllable and progressive.

I used the same tyres with lower sides on a different car for 200kms. Firmness is greatly improved.

Braking stability is acceptable on a B-sedan with drums on rear wheels. Keeps the line when hard braking from 150kph.

I would expect slight increase in consumption. Cant measure though. First set of tyres on this car, cant compare.

Would buy again as a budget product.

Driving on mostly motorways for 20000 spirited miles
I used PC6 for 30000 35000 km mostly on highways with high loads and high speeds. These tires perform very well when they are hot, especially on lateral forces. I never felt unsecure while turning at limits. Dry braking grip is very good while hot. Wet braking is good and handling is ok. After 15000km usage tires started to perform less on dusty tarmac, i never found sufficient grip at dusty city roads that's maybe because tires don't get hot at city driving. Although tires still have decent amount of thread on them i am planning to change them because of this cold tire grip problem at the mid to end life their life.

Driving on mostly town for 8000 spirited miles
This is a Citroen C-ELYSÉE - 2020./ Less than 18,000km (Live in Lima, PERU). Replace OEM tires, because are not satisfied. Old where Bridgestone Ecopia EP25. New tires Dunlop Direzza DZ102 205/60-R15, now with 10,000km on it . What a difference. First, lower noise. A lot lower noise. Precise handling, impressive braking. (Dry pavement). Even in low-mid rain have a precise braking response. Firm suspension. Will buy again.
