Citroën C4 Grand Picasso Tyre Review Highlights

Got my car with Michelin Primacy HP, thought this factory fitted tyres are the best for this type of car but then when i bought this tyre (Wanli S-1063)...i would say there's a big difference in interior noise and comfort unlike the previous one that cost around 120 quid EACH! Got these new tyres fully fitted and balanced for 50 quid on each corner...thats the very big difference! I mean, i read so many reviews about this tyre so i doubt of buying it but then when i tried it, cant see any fault on it on NORMAL driving. I would definitely buy this tyres again!!!

i put these on my c4gp 2.0hdi vtr+ egs, found this tyres to be spot on, improved handling, and change the feel of the car which was a smoother ride and more response, noise seemed reduce compared to michelins, 3k done wear is minimal, found these excelent in wet, price resonable £75 each, and seem on par with if not better than michelins which are over priced, all round v.good, will buy again.

Writing about the Kumho Ecsta KU39 given 80% (215-50-17-W)
Driving on mostly town for 1000 average miles
I have these Kumho Ecsta Le Sport Extra Load (XL) Tyres on my seven seater , the car is now a much comfortabler drive, handling roundabouts a lot keener and a lot softer going over speed-ramps and even feels a lot sharper, I previously had Marangonis (then two Maragones and two Kumhos)which were a simailar price and were a lot harder ride with a lot more Road noise and prior to that Michelins which I do feel rival those. Im very impressed and have heard that some Mercades cars and sprinter vans now come with Kumhos as standard.
I had only had the full set for a few weeks now with half and half before but so far Im very impressed.
Not taken them to any limits in the wet but who would?

Have these no my Citroen Grand Picasso , bought these as on a budget and a cheaper alternative. After around 8 of these only managed to get approx 12,000 per tyres and that was with swopping back to front once front started to wear to prolong the average life span. Although the price of these mid range tyres have started to creep high at the well known chain of tyre and exhaust centres which stock these so now maybe not such great vaule seeing that they only last for less than 12,000 miles

Driving on mostly town for 24 easy going miles
I have always had Michelin tyres on my Citroen cars - my tyres on my Xsara Picassos lasted 40,000 miles. The tyres on my new Grand C4 Picasso have only lasted 24,000 miles which is a great disappontment as I am a steady driver , not prone to rapid acceleration/braking. I will switch to another brand as I am sure that most brands will last longer.

These tyres are done after only 19,000 miles of mostly town driving. I am ready to replace them - not because they are bald but because they are worn, noisy and seem to have completely lost grip on anything other than dry roads. My previous car had Uniroyal Rainsport 2s which were phenomenally grippy wet or dry (even when worn). In fact in this winter's appalling snow and ice the uniroyals were almost as good as winter tyres (keeping me mobile when others were sliding every which way. Sadly, these Michelins are not even in the same league. Grip in the dry is ok but in the wet it's scary and in the snow, impossible. I will not be replacing them with more of the same even though they are recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.

fitted to my car from new i do about 6000 miles a year around torbay the front are now at limit back are 4mm michelin say that its one of there best tyer but my Michelin 215 55 16 Primacy HP are shot and 3 difrent tyre shops can not beleave the ware even on the back! you may say it's me on the front but it's only the 1.6l pet so no raceing in this it's the worst tyre i've ever had and the only way I will fit them is if thay are free. if you have the same problem with this tyre then call Michelin and let them know about it my tyres where made in 1509 15week 2009 (this number is in a box on the tyre) if you are only going to get 11k out of them for £600 buy cheap tyers look and see what taxi's have on them !!!!!
