For the price, very good indeed.
What is often missed is that these are all seasons tyres and so should outperform standard tyres in the cold & wet.

Bought these as rear tyres on my Wife's 1.6 focus and they were absolutely dreadful on a motorway, over 60mph the back end felt like it was going to break away all the time - very disconcerting.
Changed the wheels over, and put them on the front and they are superb, really grippy, and the problem with the rear has disappeared - won't be getting them for the rear axle again!

I have just started driving (only around 1 year) and have found that this tyre will last time after time. However, it does seem to be quite rigid, therefore, it is quite hard to know whether or not you are skidding, I have found with these on a Ford Focus, it is best to be mindful of the slide juddering that the entire car makes, as opposed to sensing it via the stearing column. I have just been driving in the snow and ice [22/12/09] and have found that it does perform well on the stuff when moving, but... if you stop the car in the stuff only for a moment, you might find your car is struggling to make and exit with the P6000.

Tyres were bought due to its cheap price and because they are meant to be grippy in the dry. The tyre compound is fairly soft so i was expecting good grip in wet and dry conditions. With the tyres freshly fitted they where tested on an airfield prior to a rally event, the sidewalls are very soft so no treahb remained. Large chunks and scrapes of rubber where taken out of the thread due to the harsh surface. Even though the tyre was losing rubber the grip was good on the asphalt and concrete. After having these tyres for a month, the rear tyre had to be replaced as rough surface from roadworks managed to cut trough to the carcass...£45 tyre in the bin! Wet performance @ 3mm tread has been reasonable but greasy country roads with enthusiastic driving did equal one too many tank slappers as the front tyres lost all grip and the car managed to aquaplane.
For the price these tyres are great on dry surfaces and perform well when driven hard. They do not perform to well on wet or greasy roads even with the softer compound (tyres do warm up very well)

Have this tyre on my focus and on my previous Corolla gti-16 and have found it to be a completely average tyre, not really good enough to justify its higher price.
I drive on slippery country roads generally at fairly high speeds due to doing shift work (empty roads). These tyres have decent dry grip and good feedback, they also crear standing water relatively well. They're not good on greasy surfaces though, and don't feel like they dig in well at all.
There's a vibration at seventy to eighty miles an hour which is not a problem of bancing or tyre pressures, I've checked them regularly, and occurred on the Focus and the Corolla. I didn't expect this of this kind of tyre.
As for wear, I managed about 10000 miles on a set of fronts on the Corolla which isn't good but is a lot to do with the roads here in Ireland, nowhere near the longevity of the avon zv3's I ran on a Mondeo previously though (about 22000 miles on Welsh roads). I've done about 5000 on the fronts that are on the focus which were previously worn, but I expected more from the tread depth.
Anyway overall I wouldn't recommend these but wouldn't warn you off either, I'll be trying a set of Vredestein Sportracs next.

tyres are ok in the dry but poor in the wet compared with the toyo tr1's. if im pushing the car in the corners i can feel the back starting to step out but the toyos hold well with little understeer. I've only managed 5000 miles on these on the back, where the toyos on the front are barely half worn and the tyres were fitted within a week of each other! very poor wear and not as grippy as the toyo tr1's!

I bought these tyres from the only place that was open on a bank holiday weekend and was told they were the best they had in.
Dry grip was superb, as was the braking in both wet and dry, especially on the motorways that I was using a lot at that time.
Then I found that driving the local town & countryside roads showed a jeckyll-and-hyde like nature to them. On greasy roundabouts and corners (some on 70mph roads) the grip would suddenly evaporate, leaving the car sliding sideways, even while other traffic at the same speed kept control.
They may be comfortable and they may last forever but I'm not willing to risk an accident for them; swapping to a full set of Falken 542s in the hope of a bit more control...

I bought four of these after reading some good reviews elsewhere. I drive mainly on back roads in the countryside with the occasional long blast of over 200 miles back home to see the folks. My annual milage is higher than average at about 18k per annum. Initially I was impressed with the tyres. Grip was very good in both wet and dry with lots of feedback, even when pushing them to the limits. The tyres do let you know when you are pushing things too far! After 13k I noticed quite alarming loss of grip on patchy/wet roads, particularly when the car was cold, always on the same part of my route back home. The front tyres has worn significantly , particularly on the inner aspects and I now need a new pair after just 13k. I am now going to try uniroyal rainsport. I would not recommend the ZV3/ZV5 and expect better wear for a tyre that cost nearly £100 a piece.

These came on my new alloys and at first they didnt grip at all but this is usuall down to the moulding deposits left, after 2000 miles the tyres were stillthe same, throw the car into a roundabout at 30mph and understeer. No matter what i tried to do they would understeer massivly, even going round roundabouts at 15 or 10 it felt like the car would roll onto the sidewall and be on a think layer of ice. i DONT recommend these tyres at all.
