Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 spirited miles
Had these on my car for about 2000miles. Have to say for a brand I didn't know anything about I'm very pleased, enough to say I wouldn't use another tyre again.

They have a very distinctive look/tread pattern. The also have a good solid sidewall which gives very good resonse and feedback. I also notice when i first had them that this had the effect of stiffening the ride too.

Dry weather grip is tremendous, and wet weather grip almost as good. Only downside, if there is one, is can be a little noisier than some, but the overall performance of these more than makes up for that.

Driving on a combination of roads for 35000 spirited miles
Had eagle f1's which last all of 9000miles and cost £83 a corner . Opted for these as a high end budget tyre for £49 corner and very impressed. 85% as good as the f1's but less road noise and better wear would def recommend: i am trying the Kumho eu31 ecsta sports next. Very good value for money.

Driving on mostly country roads for 5000 spirited miles
A friend of mine recommended I try these tyres after my Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3s wore out and I couldn't find the right size in the new version. These tyres are nothing short of amazing, I was a bit worried at first as I'd never heard of the company and they seemed quite slippy at first but 50 miles in these gripped like nothing else and gave amazing steering feel!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Driving on mostly town for 10000 spirited miles
Not the most durable, also not cheapest to buy. Everything else very good!

These are original equipment tyres so nothing to compare yet. Grip in dry and wet and wear rates all seem reasonably good. My impression is that feedback could be a little better in fast corners and through bends.

Very good grip in wet and dry: Gove the car lost of feel but the melted on my car lasting 8k on the front... Lots of road noise as well. May buy again but pricing for the miles you get out of them alot of hype for these but they did not live up in my opinion. Get contis if you are speading this sort of money.

Good all round tyre, does everything well (not great, but not poor either).

Driving on a combination of roads for 25000 average miles
These tyres came on the car when new and the front lasted about 15k miles, although they could have gone slightly longer, if not for a puncture on the front n/s that could not be repaired. The ones on the rear have now done 25k miles and will soon need replacing after 2 years being on the car.
Put Conti Contact 2's on the front at 15k, and found these tyres better for grip than the GY's, although they have worn out quicker.

Good in the dry, not so good in the wet (especially when low-ish). More exciting tyres out there.
Good durabilty though.

Had these on the front to replace the Goodyear Excellence that came as standard when new. Fitted at about 15k miles and now need replacing at 25k miles on the clock. Higher wear rate than the Goodyears, but road holding in wet and dry good. Replacing with Falken 452 all round, as budget is tight!

Driving on mostly motorways for 30000 average miles
Very all round average tyre but so noisy, anything faster than 40 mph and the car sounds like it has a jet engine attached to it! Got plenty of grip left on the tyre but going to have it replaced anyway due to the noise.

Driving on a combination of roads for 8000 spirited miles
These were fitted to my from standard, and I have to say I think I would be hard pushed to find a worse tyre. The main proble is that the sidewall of these tyres is very soft. This means Steering feedback and responce suffers. Dry weather grip was so so, but wet weather grip was appalling. If the road is greasy, forget driving your car anywhere, however if it was very wet, they did seem ok.

Possibly fine as a motorway tyre, but for any sort of performance use, look elsewhere.
