Driving on a combination of roads for 30000 spirited miles
Faultless Tyres! I've reviewed these before and am pleased to say that after 30,000 miles I will now be buying some more. The original's would have lasted longer, probably another 10/15,000 miles had I got the tracking sorted sooner. I've got them front and back and my car is literally stuck to the road. Other reviews I've read say that there is spin in the wet?? That may be true on a lightweight vehicle. But on a rear wheel drive heavier car, they feel like they are clawing up the road like a panther. As for the snow, Didn't Slip Once on the road, and left very nice tread pattern up the driveway!! :)

Driving on a combination of roads for 4000 spirited miles
Following on from Previous review of these tyres done in December. Now that the weather has warmed up a bit I am pleased to say that the tyres perform to an exceptional standard. I have given top marks for every aspect, but please be aware that they are noisy. I haven't marked them down for that purely because I like the roar that they make when you accelerate (Rear Wheel Drive) They are wearing fantastically well been on for a few months now. Run your hand over them and you can physically feel the power in the grip! (This is not a tyre for drifters. This is a tyre for the driver who wants the car to stay on the line (Stuck to the line) no matter what speed that the wheels are turning.
MOT tester did raise a comment earlier this month "Expecting Snow Are We?!!" Best to be prepared isn't it!!?? 19 Year old Sierra Passed tho!! YAY!

I bought 2 for the rear of my sierra. These are the best tyres i've ever had the pleasure of buying. Got them for £70 each not cheap but when you feel the performance then you know they are worth it. can't really judge them for wear yet but they are so good that I wouldn't mark them down for it. Bit noisy too it's a little like you can hear the tyres actually tearing up the road underneath you. Haven't actually managed to accidently spin the wheels in the snow yet whilst pulling away. Yes they have that much grip!! Buy some! and goodyear thanks for making them in my size!

Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 average miles
Following on from my previous review the shoulder wear on front tyres has increased dramatically over the last few months. The rear are also wearing down to near the wear indicators. Don't think these tyres are designed for rear wheel drive machines as they arer wearing down far too fast. I've now replaced the fronts with two serbian trayal tyres to see if they can outperform the Avon! Note to AVON your tyres should last over 10,000 miles 1 year without signs of high wear. And yes the tracking is true!

Driving on mostly motorways for 8000 average miles
I bought a full set of 4 Avon ZV3 for my old boy my 1992 rear wheel drive Sierra the tracking is kept in line regularly however the fronts are now wearing quite quickly on the left shoulder mainly due to excessive speed on cornering at roundabouts! These tyres were amazing in the Jan/Feb 2010 Snow, at slow speeds the tread pattern dug well into the snow with the solid rib keeping the car straight. (Rear wheel drive in the snow is good fun you must try it!) In the wet there is slight slide at speed but as you can feel the car about to go so you can compensate quickly with your speed. I'd buy the tyres again if they were on offer for around ?200 for 4 (fully fitted)
