I fitted these to my Honda S2000 and the big difference compared to the Bridgestones they replaced is comfort. Rather than crashing through even the smallest pothole the ride is noticably more better. The grip is as good / better - yet to see how long they last, but assuming they don't fall apart I will be buying these again.

Perhaps the new secret tyre! I had Falkens before and these are better, only slight negative is the feedback is a little less!

I am really happy and satisfied with the Yokahamas. I' ve seen a considerable improvement from the original Bridgestones (although to be fair they weren't in mint condition when I bought the car). The Yokohamas are really goodin both dry and wet condition. I would surely reconsider these tires in the future.

Writing about the Bridgestone Blizzak LM30 given 91% (205-55-16-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 6000 spirited miles
I fitted a pair of LM30 205/55/16 to the front and LM35 225/50/16 to the read of my S2000 since it's regular Potenzas are a distinctly summer tyre. The winter tyres are much softer and blockier than the summer tyre giving a slightly noisier ride, but the low speed feel and steering response is actually improved. Their breakawy in the dry is progressive and occurs at speeds about a third lower than a traditional summer tyre, however, in cold wet conditions they transform the car and enable the S2 outbreak almost anyone. Also, when it drops below freezing, or snows, the car is perfectly drivable and able to pass all of the front and rear wheel drive cars (that are invariably on the wrong tyres). The set I fitted last winter were used from October to March and had plenty of tread left and so have gone back on this winter. I'll change back to summer tyres in a few weeks and from the look of the tread will get at least one more winter out of them. Despite (or perhaps because) they're so soft treaded I tend not to spin them unnecessarily and so am getting plenty of life out of them.

I haven't used any other winter tyres and so can't say how they compare, but I can confirm that they transform the handling in poor conditions (at the expense of more modest limits on warm, dry days) and give me the confidence to dart around in bad weather that would otherwise be missing.

Writing about the Kumho IZen KW27 given 88% (205-55-16-H)
Driving on a combination of roads for 1500 average miles
I have these on the front of an S2000, I use the KW17s on the rear in a slightly bigger size. These tyres are amazing, not only in the snow (where they excel) but also in any wintry conditions. The S2k has a famously twitchy rear end especially in the wet and these winter tyres go a long way to eliminating that. They are excellent and have transformed my car in the winter and snowy conditions from a unusable very expensive chunk of metal to something which can outperform a 4x4 on snow tyres on a hill.

These tyres are reasonably priced and transform the car. They are worth every penny.

I have only driven on these tyres for about 1500 miles in the last 2 months so no idea on the wear characteristics of the tyre.

I had these on the back of an s2000. Wore slightly quickly but offered lots of grip and slid nicely.

Replaced by some Fulda Sport Controls which cost around the same but seem a bit better in every way.

The Bridgestone s02 tyres that come with the s2000 are fantastic but these are another step again.

The dry grip is probably on par but the wet grip is really good and they last a lot longer than the s02.

Would recommend them to anyone.

Fitted 245/35/18s to the rear of my beloved S2000.

Love these tyres, acres of grip in thr dry and in the wet. I only whished they lasted a bit longer. That said I dont hang around when driving. Definately would recomend and definately would buy again.

My car is not really designed for comfort being a two seater roadster, so I am unable to comment.
