These tires are great. Went a couple of sizes bigger to combat road noise. Ideally wanted 205/60r16 but they were out of stock. Going larger does have its drawback, mainly on road feedback during cornering, but the lift made it easier to clear bumps and humps. Ultimately, noise was significantly reduced (though i cant remember what was my previous sets). These tires were great in dry,wet, noise. Once you pass about half way mark, the noise started to come in and at 1/4 left (which is about where im at at the moment and am ready for a new set), wet handling and aqua planning distance starts to deteriorate. I feel that they personally wear out relatively fast, and are somewhat pricey. Will try out some goodyear efficient performance next, heard some good stuff and they are slightly cheaper.

Great when new - quiet, comfortable, handle well in wet &dry, good in snow, good on fuel. After three winters (15 months of use, and 21 months of storage) they lose their suppleness, comfort and grip. Plenty of tread left. Perhaps better to run all year round rather than swapping winter/summer every year, then at least you’ll get your money’s worth. Can’t see myself running them for one more winter season as they’ve lost their sparkle.

Heavy/rubbery steering feel. Noisy on certain road surfaces. Not the most comfortable tyre. Excellent dry and wet grip. I do many miles per year, so I can’t recommend them purely due to NVH and steering feel. Obviously this depends on your vehicle - some tyres don’t suit particular vehicles.

OEM Tyres on the Lexus CT200h are Yokohama E70 Decibel. They are very noisy at motorway speeds, and UK rough road surfaces at low-ish speeds transmit unacceptable vibrations into the cabin. My winter set of 16” Goodyear Vector 4 seasons G3 are an improvement, but I don’t want to run those all year round. Tried 17” Michelin Primacy 4 - very heavy/sluggish steering feel, slight NVH improvement (but not as good as my winter set). Finally, got my set of Sport Contact 6 - comfier than the rest of these tyres (as well as my 16” winters). Much quieter than OEM (which suits the CT200h very well). Not as sharp to turn in as the Yokos but actually, they suit the car very well - this is, after all, a small ‘luxury’ hybrid not a hot hatch. Why on earth did they fit these tyres to the car as OEM. Hardly a luxury tyre.

Fitted these tyres to my Lexus and I only have positive things to say about them. Firstly dry grip is great and same for wet grip. I avoid standing water so can’t comment on aquaplaining. I’ve had no issues with breaking distances in dry or the wet. I do drive sensibly and not someone who pushes the car over 75mph or at speed around corners. You may describe me as a Sunday driver. Comfort of the tyres and driving experience is better than my previous tyres which were Hankooks, I get many many miles out of my tyres due to my way of driving but can’t say what I’ll get out of these yet, only covered 4500 miles on them so far and there still like new. My Hankooks on the front covered 17000 miles and rear the same, but they were not worn out when I changed to the Dunlop’s. They were about half way worn. People say change tyres in pairs and that is good advice but I change all 4. It’s something I’ve always done. If one tyre goes they all go... so overall I like the Dunlop’s and can’t think of any reason why I wouldn’t buy them again.

They have a lot of road noise and the got bald very quickly despite it being a hybrid. I always drive very carefully with low acceleration so expected better milage. I got 31,000 miles out of them.

These are not a good tyre for the Lexus CT200h.

The 91W load rating makes the tyre extremely stiff for this car. The tyre shop said they’d be fine but I wish I’d trusted my instincts and bought a tyre with the 87W load rating.

Added to that, the 72 decibel rating makes this a noisy tyre on this car.

In cold January weather they are capable and up to the job but, all in all, not the right choice for me.

When buying my Lexus CT 200h the front was already fitted with Michelin Primacy 3 tyres and the rear with Yokohama (can't remember which model). When the rears needed replacement, I opted for the Michelin's again, both because I like to have 4 identical tyres all around, but also because I had a very good experience with the Michelin Energy Saver on my previous car. I'm not disappointed so far, very good handling and grip in the dry, combined with a good feedback while being slightly on the comfortable side for 17 inch tyres with 45 height. Only thing I need to check is how life is going to be in the long run.
