I have 4 Avon zz3 on at the moment, car is remapped, inducted and got a straight through de cat exhaust on it(188bhp). Old tyres used to have alot of wheelspin at take off but the Avons can handle it quite easily for a 0-60 of 6.2secs.I would defianlty buy these tyres again and will do no doubt. The car is front wheel drive and the tyres havnt aged at all in 8000 miles. The old tyres i would have replaced by now (michelins) Rear tyres look brand new. Defo recommend the zz3

Looked high and low for what tyre i should get, i had avon zz3 before and they were much less then impressive from the go and i paid £73 each ! when i got these they were £58 each and they are much much better.
Dry grip i think could be a bit better but they are very good.
Wet grip is unbelievable so good i never expected as much from them.
Road feedback is good all the snow and ice we have been having (dec 2010) you can always tell when they are not happy and about to lose grip, same on wet and dry roads.
Noise and comfort after they had "bedded" in after approx 100 miles they were bril, i would say noise has gone down by a third or so and comfort is a little better.
To early to say about wear only done 3k - 4k miles but they dont look as if they have gone down alot, compound seems soft when you touch/rub it.
Will definitely buy them again, best tyre i have ever had.

Somehow as good as all the reviews say. I didn't think I'd be able to beat the michelin pilot sports but these seem to be almost as good in the dry and better in the wet for a lot less money.

these are great i have a very tuned car at 210 bhp going through the front wheels and had many different tyres before i tried these and these are by far the best i take the car to track days and the grip is fantastic and great feedback i also use the car as my daily driver and my driving is by no means slow have ordered my next pair of zz3 now.
only drawback is they only last me 6000 miles but i do push it and they are loud but a small price to pay for safety.

The Pirelli's came on the car when I got it from new. I drove 50 miles to work all twisting single carriageway and back home 50 more 6 days a week in all weathers and they never let me down. In the dry they would grip the road like glue with plenty of feed back, but in the wet they are like two different tyres. For cruising around in the wet they are ok, they do every thing well enough but if you pick up the speed then beware they're not going to grip until you get some heat in them, but once you do they grip pretty good and still good feed back but beware if standing water as they aquaplane easly. I tried other tyres on the car like Bridgestone Potenza RE040 and I found they they had slightly less over all grip wet and dry but for some reason the car turned into the bends better. I'm still using the Pirelli's on my car now and have no plans to change.

Easily the best overall tyre I've ever driven on. So much dry grip, so much wet grip and wears better than ANYTHING i've driven on since.
The only draw back is they take a while to warm up and aren't that great from cold, and the very final part of tread goes quite hard.

These were the first set of tyres I bought after the Avon ZZ3's that came with the car wore out - hence I had the parada's on all four wheels.
Now the ZZ3's were a good tyre and I would have got them again but it was only ?30 extra in total to get the Yoko's at the time (April 2008 - approx ?380) so went with my heart. The grip in the dry was outstanding from the word go, constant feedback from the tyres and an immense boost of confidence in tight bends. The grip in the wet was adequate, but due to the afforementioned boost of confidence any excesses in the wet were found to be punished and were soon learned to be a no-no.
The tyres have been consistently like this throughout their life and the only major fault I can find is that they wore pretty quickly - though I think that's more to do with how much I wanted them to stick around.
Just had Falken ZE-912's to replace the fronts and the void in performance and feel is immediate - so at the earliest opportunity the rear Yoko's are going on the front to rekindle the love affair. WILL buy again and I am already saving up.

Great Tyre. Went from original fit Continentals after around 15k to Ecsta. That was a fair choice. Made the HUGE mistake of getting TrakMaxx after 35k and soon got shot of those. Had the Yoko Parada Spec2 at 38k and what a difference!!
The Yokos have been Nitrogen filled and grip dry roads like glue. Wet roads pose no problems either, however, aquaplaning can be evident in high density rain. Overall though a brilliant tyre that will be purchased again.
