Mercedes Benz C200 CDI Sport Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Continental Premium Contact 6 given 89% (225-45-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 31944 average miles
The Continental Premium Contact 6 (225/45/R17 94Y) have been on my Mercedes-Benz C200 CDI Avantgarde for around 31944 miles (51410km). The rear tyres have been replaced after 25840 miles (41586km). I've driven the car on every type of road including racetracks. The tyres have a lot of grip in dry and wet conditions. They give very good feedback but they're not the most comfortable tyres. You can feel every little bump or uneven surface of the road you're driving on. These tyres are also a little bit noisy. But I would definitely buy them again!

Driving on a combination of roads for 25000 spirited miles
Very good tyre. Drive them on my Mercedes (C-Class 2010) with 225/45/17. The tyres are great at wet and dry weather.
There is 1 cons - they are too soft and almost every hole make a "bubble". For about 40 000km bought 6 tyres.

Writing about the Dunlop SportMaxx RT given 58% (245-40-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 3000 average miles
I put these on a rear drive. They followed Continental sc5, Pirelli p zero, Michelin hp, all lasted at least 17000 miles. The Dunlops are nearly worn out at 3000 miles. Another 500 and they'll be illegal. A shame as initially performance was outstanding, but consistent with many others comments they don't last. I have driven the same roads and style, so it is the tyres. I will be taking it up with Dunlop.....

Writing about the Nankang NS2 given 81% (225-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 average miles
Just had my second set of Nankangs. They have the new tyre labelling on them and the wet grip is rated as a C. So any other reviews saying they are no good in the wet will be down to poor driving. The C rating I believe is actual fact and not an opinion. Michelins were a B rating though but are 2 1/2 times the cost of these Nankangs. Brilliant value for money.

Driving on a combination of roads for 15000 average miles
Changed from Michelin Primacy HP to these babies and boy! What a difference! The tiny and not so tiny road bumps that are extremely common on UK roads these days seems to have vanished. The Michelins used to feedback every single one of them to my backside. Dry grip is superior. Wet grip is pretty impressive too. I would highly recommend these tyres.

these tyres came on my new merc, im by no means a boy racer but i dont hang-about, they have great grip in wet and dry considering they are hard wearing covering 16k miles, but are totally useless in freezing/frost/snow conditions unless you enjoy doing 360 spins in corners at 10mph.
