Writing about the Autogrip F107 given 83% (225-45-17-)
Driving on mostly motorways for 30000 average miles
I bought my Mercedes E320 from a dealer 9 months ago and it has autogrip F107 tyres fitted. After covering 30000 miles I cannot understand all the bad comments about the tyres.I am not a fast driver but drive sensibly to the road conditions and hav'nt noticed any of these adverse comments perhaps I'm lucky or a slow driver.I would have thought driving through the winter 2012 2013 it would be a good test on the car.By the way they wear much better than cotinentals and look at the difference in price.

First set of 4 lasted 28,000 miles - all wore evenly and progressively. Fitted 2 more yesterday to front both measured just under 3mm across full width and circumference.

Wet & Dry grip much the same. Ice, look out if you have ABS. Replaced Continentals as the rear noise was. To be fair after buying the car the rear tyres (265/35-18)were running with about 3.5mm tread, 8000 miles reduced this to 1.7mm when the noise was worst. They stuck to the road like glue. I "can" loose the Goodyears with 376ft/lbs of torque, complete loss if not for traction control. Ride is great!---Front tyres also new 245/40-18 F1, No problem at all (except Ice)Havn't lost steering or braking even slightly. All tyres wearing perfectly square.

Driving on mostly motorways for 80000 spirited miles
Excellent winter tyres. Dry grip is steady and progressive, with little indication that the tyre is a winter tyre (except for an increase in noise towards the end of its tread life). in the wet the tyres begin to really excel, with formidable grip under all situations (including hard driving under less than optimal conditions). driving in snow is almost like driving on normal dry roads (almost, but obviously not the same). At speeds up to 30/40 mph the in town the tyres are incredibly well behaved with strong grip under accelration, cornering and all important breaking. thoroughly recommended, however the "Sottozero" tyres from Pirelli (their top of the range) are a little better in all aspects described
