Mitsubishi Outlander Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Pace AZURA Pace given 99% (225-55-18-W)
Driving on mostly country roads for 24000 average miles
As these tyres are rated XL, on my car - Mitsubishi Outlander GX3 if you don't run them firm, the shoulders wear quickly on the front. Having found the ideal pressure (34psi) for my car, the rolling resistance is perfect and poise on road amazing. Have put 24000 miles on this set so will buy again.

Best tyre for a SUV with quick handling! Grips like nothing before in the wet, and on tight high speed turns it lets out a lovely chorus of squeals- Bonus! Highly recommended, and is smooth at high speeds but still got awesome handling thanks to the 'adaptive sidewall technology'.
Has a 520 treadwear rating, and haven't noticed any wear whatsoever so far to be honest! And it hasn't been looked after - Managed to get air on gravel, over 150kmph along sand, and taking sharp corners at high speed and a lot of strain put on it during fast acceleration! So its amazing how there is no wear so far!
The wet weather performance is also amazing. Not the slightest chance of aquaplaning. Hit water 10-20mm deep at 150kmph and the wheel hardly pulled away!
People always ask about the noise of this tyre - I like the hum it makes, but saying that its not annoying or noticeable along the open road. Only hear it on smooth asphalt and low speed turns on smooth surfaces.
Its a stunning looking tyre and tread pattern! The big X's make a statement! If you are into fancy footwear, this is an excellent option.

Also have heard that it is an awesome tyre for snow - Can't say anything on this yet but can't wait and expecting high performance from them! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TYRE!!!! :)

As the first review - I'll add a few of the technical specs of this tyre below. Enjoy:
- All-Season high performance tire designed for crossover utility vehicles
- Adaptive Response Sidewall technology delivers a smooth ride when cruising and excellent handling during spirited driving
- Straight and slanted circumferential grooves increase water dispersion efficiency for excellent hydroplaning resistance and wet weather performance
- Large outer shoulder block design increases overall lateral stiffness for improved cornering and handling
- 2-in-1 groove design on inner shoulder increases wet weather traction while improving overall wear pattern
- Multi-pitch tread block technology minimizes pattern noise for a quiet and comfortable ride
- M&S All-Season rated
- UTQG 520 A A

Just BTW I am a strong supporter of the Maxxis Escapade CUV CV-01! Its never let me down and I don't expect it ever will.

Fitted these just in time for the first snow here in the Uk and they transformed the car. Unbelievable grip in ice, shallow snow and slush. Like other reviewers I have been able to drive on surfaces others couldn't. The ride comfort has actually improved from the OEM tyres. Road noise is slightly higher but not enough to notice. Grip in the wet is superb and the steering stability has improved. Even had some moments entering deep standing water at speed and it was a non event. I cannot praise these tyres enough - looking for summer Nokians now.

A bit noisy and wore out quicker than I thought & the last tyre on vehicle. Excellent grip & predictable, excellent handling in corners. Used less MPG when on highway than last tyre brand on same vehicle. I like the higher pressure that these tyres can be pumped up to, good economy on gas. I think good overall value for money.
