I will never buy another set of these. These came factory fitted. Slippery like a fish! Hydroplane on the shallowest sheet of water on the road. Scary !! Takes forever to get to destinations whenever it rains cause I'll be slipping and sliding everywhere. Very dangerous tires. I threw them away even with a balance of 50% tread. The new Michelin Primacy SUV+ is night and day compared to these Conti.

Driving on a combination of roads for 10 average miles
Good grip in dry weather and pretty good in the wet except for wet cornering, especially in a roundabout, more so if roundabout is on an incline the car will slide out of control but then the stability control takes over, and helps to stabilise car. Have to drive through roundabouts extra slow. Comfort and noise is excellent though but road feedback isn’t that good.

Driving on a combination of roads for 22 average miles
Dry grip is good but wet isn’t good and atrocious When I drive around a round about that is on a hill, I have to drive really slow or else the car spins out and stability control helps to save it. They have lasted around 35,000-40,000 km. Don’t buy these please especially if you don’t have stability control and awd and traction control!

Excellent tires, I love them, their quality and price ratio is very good. I will definitely buy them again. After driving for more than 45,000 km with them they still have 20 percent left. Always performing maintenance, alignment and rotation every 10,000 km.

Yes they have given the X-Trail a nice comfortable-Quite ride compared to the original Yoko"s supplied tires. Mainly 95% Highway use, not for off road.........

Driving on mostly motorways for 27000 spirited miles
Best overall performance for the price. Superbly comfortable and quiet while providing performance. No aquaplanning while hitting puddle at 90-100kmh. Awesome. Will definitely buy again since it is a bargain. Was on BS Dueller 470 and it is a major step up moving to the ST30 with the same price range. However, these tires will wear out faster for surebut at that price range, i don't care. It is cheap, comfy, quiet, and fun to drive.

Driving on mostly town for 35000 easy going miles
On a Nissan Xtrail. Paid top price for them $220 AUD a corner. Supposedly a 90/10 road off road tyre.
second worst tyre I've ever owned, the worst being retreads I got for free.
WIthin 5,000 kms they were chewed out from going on a 1km stretch of gravel once a month.
Goodyear shop advised they shouldn't be used on gravel...even though they sold them to me for that purpose.
They lasted 55,000 kms in total.
They were quiet for the first ~10,000 and got progressively louder, they are now very loud.

Grip in dry is bad, in wet is terrible. I easily spin wheels in the dry on a slight incline.
I'll never buy goodyear again after this. Which is a shame cause the best tyres I've ever had were goodyear (F1 eagle I think the were...that was 15 years ago)

Driving on mostly country roads for 10000 average miles
I think the previous reviewer has got confused and left a review for the wrong tyre, as the WR SUV 3 is most definitely a winter tyre, so the fact that he took them off in summer suggests that he's either barking or he's got mixed up.

Anyway, just to leave my quick review - these are fantastic tyres. Had them over two winters now on the X-Trail. Can't fault them at all. Wear is excellent, grip and braking are fantastic wet or dry. Good feedback and comfortable too. When the time comes to replace them I won't hesitate to buy these again.

Great on road tyres, also seem to be very good on our 4x4 on muddy soggy grass fields. Great traction and seem very good in wet conditions...

Great price £76 each fitted...

Yet another great tyre from the great tyre company, that is General Tyres

These tyres are new on the market and following their success in the "Off-Road" magazine test and their excellent price and also the fact that I couldn't get hold of Michelin Alpin A4s at a sensible price, I went for these. Ordered online from Oponeo.

It's only been a couple of weeks, so I'm not going to comment on the wear.

I'm usually quite critical of tyres and find something to nit-pick about, but so far absolutely nothing. Grip and braking has been up there with the very best, the improvement over my summer tyres - Michelin Latitude Tour HP is quite noticeable. The ride is extremely comfortable and quiet. For fuel economy it's a little early to be sure, but I've noticed an improvement of maybe 5% over the Michelins. No experience in ice and snow so far.

I'll update this review when I have been running them for a while longer.
