ive had this tyre for 15000 miles since they were passed down to me from my dad. (he liked cornering at 30-40 here n then round blind corners so they did well for him)
thank god it has a decent tread pattern. dont remember aquaplaining when when driving to worchester at an average of 90+ for 3 hours in heavy wind and rain. good grip taking 2nd exits at 50.
squeals a lot when u push it and i killed an alloy when it gave up on me half way through a turn ...it was dry and dusty but at 35ish, should have held it's own. didnt burst the tyre tho and it only lost 2 psi..??!
i'ave had them for 15000 miles of hard cornering and wild standing starts and th fronts still have around 3mm+! rears r like new at 7mm+ so good for wear. prob because they're so dam hard and you feel everything u go over!
44psi all round

These tyres grip ok, not too bad in the dry and ok in the wet, though they do let go reasonably easily when pushed. Feedback is good through the wheel.
However i would never buy these tyres again, they are seriously noisey and wear very odly. I had one pair wear like 50p pieces, more worn in some parts of the tread than others, which made them even more noisey than normal. I now have to replace another pair which are fitted to the rear, not through wear, as they actually wear very slowly, but the widewalls are cracking badly and they are only 4 years, covered around 20K miles on the rear.
Not recommended. Going to be replaced with Conti Premiumcontacts.

Driving on mostly town for 500 spirited miles
dry grip is good, didnt get a big a lateral movement when overtaking lorries which is a +. response is sharp, holds it's own at 30-40, lets me turn in more aggressively later.
very very quiet from 60+, def beats the budgets i killed my last set of alloys with. no shaking at any speeds up to 100(god bless motorways). it is, as others have said, a little rigid but use ur brain, lower the psi!! i like feeling th road but being th UK, potholes, lane dividers and outright crazy speed bumps do make u bounce n hit u hard
i did push it to skid around 45 into a sharp right. needed a handbrake to straighten up but i knew how ,when and it behaved nicely
had a little measure and after 500 miles of frankly irresponsible testosterone driven fun and somehow, there's still 8mm of tread?checked hot and cold and still th same?
i'm happy to have moved up to yokohamas, and this tyre. as my first mid range tyre, i cant say it's better then anything except i've had a great oepning 500 miles worth of time with them . it can only get better!
