I live in Northern Canada and have to drive 200km (one way) to my mining job: I purchased these tires for my Tacoma once I took the job and knew I was going to constantly be "road tripping" in the winter. I went from constantly needing to use 4x4 on hills and offroad (running BFG KO2) to scampering around in 2wd with minimal drama (running the studded Sailun WST1). Definitely a very solid performing tire when the conditions get sketchy!

Writing about the Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Adventure given 55% (265-70-16-)

Ran these tires for 4 years on my 2020 Tacoma. They do give a nice ride and are dead quiet. These are pretty much the only positives about these tires. Dry and wet grip were very good when new but once they get a bit worn the grip just isn't there. I ran these only once in the first light snow of winter and immediately went out and bought a dedicated winter tire as the Goodyear Wranglers were horrible (I expected they would not be good in the snow). Durability was horrible as well. Had 2 rock punctures from small stones when they were paving a nearby road (I don't offroad). I've never had a small rock puncture a tire on me before this, but had it happen twice with the Wranglers. There is currently 60,000 kms on my truck and half of those kms are with my winters, so I'd say between 30,000-40,000 kms on the Goodyear Wranglers. About 3/32nds of tread left, so they are pretty much at the end of their life. Nowhere even close to the 95,000 km warranty Goodyear claims for these tires.

Writing about the General Grabber ATx given 77% (-70-17-)

I drive a 2015 Toyota Tacoma and chose the General Grabber ATX tires to replace the stock tires. After a little over 40,000 miles, I can safely recommend this tire to just about anyone looking for a functional all terrain tire. Admittedly I chose these tires based on looks over performance. Having also driven on BF Goodrich KO2s on a previous vehicle, these General Grabber ATXs will give the KO2s a run for its money. The wear is excellent, rated for 50,000 miles, I expect to meet its limited warranty and well beyond. I mainly drive in the city but will travel off road from time to time, never had any issues going through muddy or rocky roads. Comfort level is acceptable, there is some road noise but it doesn’t bother me much. The only negative real thus far and it’s to be expected, the tire has lost some wet grip as it’s worn down. Initially it was great, but it has noticeably lost it’s wet traction. No big deal for me, just need to slow down some, and can’t take off from a stop as quickly. Aside from that, if you are considering the General Grabber ATX, you can’t go wrong with them. Take care of your vehicle and your tires and they’ll take care of you!

Worst tires I ever bought and will NEVER buy again, 6 weeks since I mounted them after a fresh alignment and brake job and they are so worn the thread is almost completely gone. The wear is even across the contact surface of the tires and I even went a got a recheck of my alignment. These Chinese made pieces of bad are a complete waste of money.

Writing about the Sumitomo Tour Plus LSW given 10% (215-70-15-)

Bought 4 Sumitomo Tour Plus LST tires on Aug 10, 219. On Aug. 15, 2019, Tire dealer had to replace bot back tires due to belt defects.
The 2 new tires, were no better.
The belts, felt like they were separating on these as well. Tires, were, loud, hard, bumpy, vibrating badly from day 1. Didn’t want any blowouts on the highway, so dealer had to change out all tires, for Hankook Kinergy PT H 737....
Happy as a clam now!!!... HUGE difference. I was told, at one of my trips to the dealer, that Sumitomo changed their rubber composition, and they’ve had nothing but problems since.....Steer clear of these tires!...You’ve been warned!..

Writing about the Nankang Mudstar Radial MT given 65% (235-85-15-)
Driving on mostly country roads for 0 average miles
Got these tires as a gift. Looked them up saw how cheap they were. Was a little scared they would suck. However I took them up to the mountains yesterday and they did very well. I have only had them for about a week so I don't know how they will wear. And I havnt got to try them in snow or ice yet.

spend more than 50% off road on farm impressed with traction used good grippy sidewall useful climbing out of steep muddy farm track. not sure how to compare noise they are ok but all mud terrain tryes do whine depending on type of sealed surface compared to AT tyres. These tyres are very posiuive traction on tarseal

They are good strong tyres and probably would buy them again. Having sipes on the lugs I think makes safer ice road driving. I think sipes add quite a lot on the icey roads. Offroad sipes not needed but good clearing lugs are. I able to use 2wd a lot more before needing to flicking into 4wd. I happy with my choice of tyre.

Regarding wear I not had them long enough to comment.

I ranked up to 9 as not sure what the perfect tyre is but they bloody good tyres for my application.

Worst tires I have ever owned! These tire wiggle the whole truck at 10-20 mph and at 70 mph the act like I have bicycle tires on the front. I have had them back to the tire dealer 4 times and balanced 4 times! These are crap tires don't buy this junk. The road noise is like having big mud tires on your truck.
