Writing about the Hankook Ventus RS2 Z212 given 93% (215-40-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 12000 spirited miles
Excellent fast road tire for enthusiastic driving, Very capable on track too, especially for the money. Lots more grip than your everydau road tire. Fantastic levels of grip in the dry, not often associated with a grippy dry tire.
Inexpensive considering their performance levels.

Writing about the Kumho Ecsta KU31 given 83% (215-45-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 4000 spirited miles
Excellent dry grip, slight understeer in the wet around roundabouts but I exeperienced the same with Michelins which these tyres replaced.
Comfort good, feedback positive. Quieter ride. Just about to replace my rear Bridgstones which now suffer from heel and toe wear with KU31's

Writing about the Dunlop SP Sport 01 given 80% (225-40-18-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 42000 average miles
Supplied on car at purchase, have now covered 42000 miles, tyres changed back to front every 15000 and now down to approx 3mm all round. Grip starting to go in the wet. I have had good wear from these and reluctant to change, but time for a change I think. Initially found the tyres noisy but either I have getting used to the noise or they have quietened down with use. These have been on the car for three years and have now started to perish around the edge of the thread/sidewall. Overall a good tyre suited to the car and would recommend.

Driving on a combination of roads for 100 spirited miles
Recently bought this tyre based on reviews on here, found that they grip very well and have improved the smoothness of the ride. Have used in snow, rain and dry evebn in the short period of time I have had the tyres, but i have been very impressed on each surface.
Good Buy!

Writing about the Falken FK452 given 79% (205-50-16-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 spirited miles
These tyres are great. Although you cannot push them at all in the first 300-500 miles I found with my car, very skitish, and they slide alot. Then they get bedded in and grip fantastic. No wheelspin now when pushing hard in 1st gear, wet grip is also very good, I used Toyo T1R 's before these and these are just as good overall. Big thumbs up for these tyres. Would def recommend

Writing about the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric given 79% (225-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 30000 spirited miles
My car came with cont. sport 2 on it and was very pleased with them, but were expensive to renew. I was recomended these tyres buy my garage, they came highly recomended and weren't any dearer than most named brands so I tried them.
Have to say no complaints excellant all round tyre. Only down side is after about 10,000k need replaced, but its worth it to get this level of feeling you can do anything in any weather. Will defianatley be buying them again.

Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 spirited miles
Probably the best wet tyre I've used on a car, although if the road surface gets at all mucky, the tread pattern isn't so good at cutting down through it. Good feedback, but I've not driven near the limit enough to worry about progressiveness. Decent ride quality and noise levels.

Writing about the Uniroyal Rallye 550 given 74% (195-60-15-H)
Driving on a combination of roads for 130 spirited miles
The Rallye 550 gives confident wet weather grip for both cornering and braking. I believe the feedback is a little bit vague on twisty B roads but a quiet drive is experienced on motorways.
The dry grip is decent but the rubber is a little bit soft resulting in below average tyre wear. However I can live with this trade-off as the overall package is good.
Price is another good point allowing me to purchase for slightly under £50 fully fitted.
