After many years with Goodrich TAs with one carcass deformation I felt the need for a change. In the size I was after I had limited choice, however with good reviews of the Wildpeak I took the plunge. They balanced very easily with little weight and initial feelings of road manners were very good - quieter than the TAs they replaced and with better grip wet or dry. Off-road they have a slightly different character to the TAs, and whilst they would brake traction and spin in similar conditions, the actual traction is better. Even when spinning they seem to bite harder than the TAs and keep the van moving. I will definitely replace the fronts with the Falkens when the time comes.

Nice grippy tyre, liked the rub profile that protects the alloy rims, excellent dry grip. Not sure about the wet grip as there was little feedback through the steering and I always drove with a little more caution.
Life on front wheel drive was about 20k, rear wheels wore better 26k before replacement.
Ride with new tyres was reasonably comfortable, ride became "harder" after about 15k. Tyre noise, quiet on good roads and motorways at 70mph, noise was acceptable on most roads, noisy on "bumpy" roads due to low profile and stiffer suspension.

Not a bad loking tyre, rim bead was a little small considering this was a selling point! The biggest criticism is wear.....gone through a set on my light van in less that 9k, very disappointing! Quite positive in the dry but when its wet....better stay at home! Won't be bothering again!

I own a 2010 VW Transporter dual cab vehicle and these tyres were fitted as original.I noticed the front two tyres seemed to be excessively but evenly wearing at approx 10000km and I had to replace them(totally bald)at 19000kms. The 2 rear tyres were still approx 80% good. I have now got 28000kms on the odometer and the 2 front tyres are worn down to approx 40%, rears still approx 60%.Very poor service considering my previous 2006 Transporter obtained 63000kms with regular rotation.I keep getting asked if I am rotating my tyres but my response is "the front tyres are too far gone by the time that comes around".To Goodyears credit they did replace the first 2 free of charge but dont want to be going through this every 8 months

Buy Wanli tyres at your peril, fitted all new tyres to my Van and after 10 weeks started hearing bearing noise, after taking it to my local garage they noticed that the tyres had uneven wear causing it to rumble. A waste of £485.
