165/70 14 Tyre Review Highlights

Goodride Z 107 ZuperEco rated 75% while driving a Toyota Corolla AE101
Driving on mostly country roads for 8600 average miles
This tyre made the same by three brands. Goodride, Westlake and Trazano. Very good in dry roads, and also good in the wet. Brake is good. Very comfort and good wear.

Continental EcoContact 6 rated 87% while driving a Toyota
Driving on a combination of roads for 45000 average miles
Conti eco contact 6, 165/70 R14T second set of them on my 98 Corolla. This set has 73000 Km done in one and half years. Town and highway traffic mostly. For normal everyday driving they seem perfect. Being a pure summer tyre, they do feel a bit “soapy” when it gets below 5 degree Celsius so driving style needs to be adjusted. Other than that the grip is great dry and wet, fuel consumption is about half a litre per one hundred km less than the set of budget constancy tires I had a few years back. For normal driving above 5 degrees I can only recommend them.

Kumho Solus 4S HA32 rated 59% while driving a Subaru g3x Justy
Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 spirited miles
A cheap name brand product was all I was seeking and these were the cheapest! They're not bad at anything but not great either, and so far have proved reliable. They do look good, a vast improvement on the Maxxis tyres they replaced in all aspects, especially visually, not that that's important. Honestly if I could afford better, I would have bought a better product but I'm safely mobile and legal and that aim was achieved with these tyres, something I wouldn't have got with some of the scary, nasty cheap stuff out there.

Starmaxx Tolero ST330 rated 38% while driving a Toyota Corolla AE101
Driving on mostly town for 8350 average miles
Very bad tyres. Made in Turkey, its the same tyre with Petlas PT311. Just only good in dry roads, but very dangerous in the wet, very noisy. Technology i think is 20 years back...

Sava Sava All Weather rated 66% while driving a Toyota Corolla AE101
Driving on mostly country roads for 5 average miles
This all weather tyre is good in dry and wet roads if you drive normal. If you want sport tyre dont look here. If you want winter tyre 100% go in other tyre category. Sava All Weather its most most better than old model summer Sava Perfecta.

Dynamo STREET H MH01 rated 99% while driving a SEAT Seat Mii
Driving on mostly country roads for 0 spirited miles
Absolutely fantastic tyres, had to swap my horrible goodyear vector 4 seasons gen 2 for these great tyres. I've always believed in sticking with the premium brands like Michelin, continental and Goodyear however.. Budget was tight and I needed a decent tyre so I gave Dynamo Street MH1 a shot and I'm so happy with them. Being a partner brand of sailun I'm not surprised they do everything perfectly well. Dry grip is great it's never made me feel uneasy, wet grip is also a good point. Handling is to be expected it's very safe and secure it never feels like it's giving up grip. Overall I'm more than happy to stick with dynamo tyres and avoid the premium brands. I should also note I thought I had a wheel bearing gone however it must've been the Goodyear vector 4 seasons gen 2 making the noise because ever since they've been gone the noise has vanished.
Dynamo tyres are the way to go.

Atlas Green 4S rated 20% while driving a Skoda
Driving on mostly town for 1000 average miles
These tires Are dangerous! My Girlfriend got her First car with a new set of Atlas Green 4S tires and i was absolutely shocked how Bad these tires where. She only drives a 60hp Skoda Fabia but Even with that car it was Not possible to Start driving on wet Surfaceswithout wheelspin. Braking was terrifying because of the horrible wet grip. I was Not able to Go faster than 15-20 km/h in a round-about on dry Surface without the tires i collapsing. It felt like driving a boat. I threw them away After one Month and bought some Continental AllSeason Contacts

Bridgestone Turanza T005 rated 83% while driving a Volkswagen Polo 1.2
Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 spirited miles
Bought these tires as I had a puncture on one of my old fronts. On the old (cheap) tires I noticed poor wet grip, and a general lack of feel from the tires. I applied these tires to the front only, the rears are still some cheap brand. The car has about 60hp, so not a lot of power, however due to lack of TC, it was actually pretty easy to spin the front wheels, even in the dry when starting spiritedly. After applying these tires, it is significantly more difficult to make this happen which is nice. The feel has been greatly improved with these tires, and the grip when going round a bend is noticeably greater. The feedback is enough to be pretty clear of where the limit is. The car feels more bitey and fun to drive. In the wet it's more of the same, I have a lot of faith in the front tires, and haven't found the car understeery at all with them.
