Amazing tyres well worth all the rave reviews. braking is truly great.

Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3 rated 100% while driving a Mazda MX5
Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 spirited miles
Replaced a set of Continental DWS that I had previously reviewed here. I live in Seattle USA which tends to have wet winters and only a few weeks of sub freezing weather. These tires feel great on the road. The rubber compound reminds me of one of those super bouncy balls. Sticky yet very solid. Compared to the DSW, these tires are superior in all conditions. The only issue I had with the DSW were the soft sidewalls. The Michelin are world's stiffer and require less steering wheel input while cornering. I tend to post regular updates on this forum so will post again in the spring or summer of 2014.

Falken ZIEX ZE914 EcoRun rated 100% while driving a Peugeot 207 GT
Driving on a combination of roads for 9 average miles
Great tyres. Replaced pirelli p zero nero's which are also great tyres but have a firmer ride & throw up a lot of spray in wet weather. Bought the falken 914 ecoruns at over £40 pound a tyre cheaper than pirelli's & im well impressed with them, great in the dry & wet, lovely comfortable ride & very quiet, with zero tram lining & tread wear looks like it is going to be good. Car also staying a lot cleaner down sides & back with a lot less road spray in wet weather, rear screen was never clean with pirelli's. From high motorway speed fully laden with holiday luggage to torrential rain on greasy country roads i cannot fauly these tyres. Like the pirelli's i have every faith they will stick to the road when cornering hard in both dry & wet conditions

Avon ZZ3 rated 100% while driving a MINI Cooper S
Driving on a combination of roads for 30000 average miles
Avon RR3 runflats fitted to a R53 MINI Cooper S to replace the OEM fitment Pirelli runflats. Good progressive grip and low noise, with outstandingly good behaviour in the wet, especially standing water. Very much more comfortable ride quality than the standard fitment runflats. Highly recommended

Michelin CrossClimate rated 100% while driving a CitroŽn DS3 vti120
Driving on mostly country roads for 0 spirited miles
This is the first time i have used all season tyres, having previously used winter tyres on a different car, but decided for cost sake and not having to change tyres twice a year, to go for Michelin CrossClimate+ and ehat a revelation these tyres are, all the reviews ive read rave about them, and i whole heartedly agree, they are tremendous on wet roads and feel great on dry roads.

They are quiet in use, but if i was to make one observation they feel a bit like runflats as the side wall seems quite stiff and going over ridges in the road you do feel it more than on some other tyres ive used, but bearing in mind the confidence these tyres give on wet bends and roundabouts this is a minor thing to my mind.

Would i fit these again, absolutely but they're not cheap, but if they last a couple of winters it all evens out.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 rated 100% while driving a Mazda MX5
Driving on a combination of roads for 621 spirited miles
For my 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF, I decided to purchase 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. Unlike other ND Mazda MX-5 owners, I stayed with the original size, 205/45 R17, but in 88W specification. The original Bridgestone Potenza S001 tyres were showing pronounced wear, at 28000 kilometres, or 17400 miles. The tyres ranged from 3.4 millimetres of tread, down to 2.8 millimetres on one tyre, even with regular tyre rotations. Extrapolating the wear from brand new, I could''ve achieved 40000 km, or 25000 miles in total tyre life. As the puncture risk was increasingly higher, this motivated me in my purchase. The other reason was wheelspin from a standing start in the dry, without serious provocation.

The roadholding and grip are first rate. As you drive hard, the tyre is very progressive, towards its VERY high limits. When it does break away, it does so progressively. Oversteer is certainly still available, but its limit is higher than on the S001 tyres. The steering still loads up nicely in cornering. The turn in response is direct, too. Whilst it's not quite as sharp in turn in response as the Bridgestone Potenza S001, it's still very good. The feedback through the steering wheel, and the front and rear ends remains second to none - and it does so with better impact harshness absorption. The tyres' 'rolling comfort' - the ability to absorb small bumps - is WAY superior to the Potenza S001 tyres. Whilst this is most likely due to the stiffer sidewalls of the S001, which contribute to their slightly sharper turn in, the reality is more harshness, with no increase in handling and driving involvement - and less comfort.

Road and tyre NVH -Noise, Vibration and Harshness - is improved. Whilst the MX-5 can never be mistaken for a Lexus in terms of refinement, the improvement in this area is undeniable.

It's only early days in terms of determining wear, but I will certainly post updates as to how the tyre is going.

Here in Australia, the price for each tyre, for this size, at least, is between $235 to $245 dollars. I paid $235 each, with a 4 wheel alignment completed at $70. The alignment wasn't out by much, by only a millimetre. Personally, I think this is good value for money, considering the tyre and its attributes.

Thus far, would I buy them again? I'd have to say a resounding 'Yes'.

Highly recommended.

Driving on a combination of roads for 22000 spirited miles
mx5 bbr super 200
after 22000 miles of spirited driving, i have replaced the ZZ5 avons on the rear of my mx5 at 3mm tread remaining.
they have performed, in every area, extremely well, in all conditions,( not driven in snow)
they have never let go...i have tried.
they have taken me on fast road trips around Scotland (twice) and wales (twice)
as well as 2500 miles through France down to Spain and back....never a problem.
the best tyre i have ever had.
