Pirelli Ice Zero FR rated 93% while driving a Saab Automobile 2.0T (210bhp)
Driving on mostly country roads for 3000 average miles
Used same 4 tires on my previous 2wd and now on my 4wd. Driven alot on snow and ice (Sweden) for three seasons. Only had one minor incident when grip was lost (extremely icy condition with melted water on top during overtake). Beside from this situation I am extremely satisfied with the tires and would recommend them.

Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen 3 rated 94% while driving a Mercedes Benz
Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 spirited miles
First I experienced, that it is very comfortable, and silent, compared to my previous Pirelli winter, and not far from my summer GY asy6 (which is the best , so even close to that is a great thing). The dry grip is pretty fine, did not force it much, but very confident in fast corners. The only recognisable thing, is that the brake distance could be bigger (again...compared to the best UUHP summer)

Then came the monsoon rain. The grip is pure magic. No aquaplan, superb grip, and I tried to drift...cornering with full throttle as a test, but it just grips like hell LOVE it!

Ok, you can say, that it's nothing. So:
There was a giant snowstorm, snow everywhere, fresh... the hardest condition. But the tire was solid and behaved exactly like a top winter tire. During the 4-hour trip I was one of the quickest cars on the roads. Which were fully covered in snow, and ice, constantly falling... so fresh snow on ice as well. I even wanted some fun, turned the ESP off, and made some idiotic moves. And the tire showed some magic. After about 50-60cm of tail. moving, it suddenly gripped/stopped...the lateral grip is magical.

I'm actually mesmerized by this. Goodyear is a killer. Leader tires for affordable prices. :D
If you want something that is an awesome allrounder, then Vector!!!
I use it as a winter tire, since here it's more like a cold spring with rare snowing days; but if you dont care about the last 1% of dry grip, then no summer is needed next to it.

Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus II rated 44% while driving a Mercedes Benz
Driving on mostly country roads for 24000 average miles
I'm reviewing the Pirelli Cinturato P7 all season plus 2. I'm assuming that's the U.S. version of what you call the SF2. If not please delete this review or move it to the right place. They were decent tires when new though I found them to be noisy on course pavement and nibbly on grooved concrete.
The biggest problem with them is that despite having a 70,000 mile warranty they are hydroplaning so badly at 24,000 miles that I have to get rid of them.
In heavy rain they are incredibly dangerous. I've almost lost control of the car twice in the last week so they are coming off immediately. This is on an
all wheel drive Mercedes which is normally a very stable car. And I wasn't even cornering, when I hit water on the road the car would start skittering around in random directions.

Michelin X Ice Xi3 rated 81% while driving a Acura
Driving on mostly motorways for 10000 spirited miles
Let me begin by saying I drive like a maniac in the snow and icy conditions, I try to pass cars and avoid them spinning out on me so I pass most people. I have a very aggressive driving style once the snow hits the ground. I don't risk this style on turns with the michelin x ice 3 tires as cornering is a little risky for me. As far as driving surfaces that these tires do well with I would say dry pavement 9/10, wet 7/10 (caught some understeer going into a corner too quickly) and rugged ice 8/10, light slush/sleet 9/10. Deep snow over 4 inches I can't really say cause we don't get much deep snow in spokane WA, city cleans it up very quickly. For anything under 3 inches these tires do very well. Drove 10k miles on them and am down to 9/32 and 8/32s. I bought these tires in New condition but aged (made in 2017) they still do very well to drive in the conditions described prior. On polished ice or Deep snow I'm not sure how well they'll perform to a studded tire. On polished ice they don't do very well especially going down hill, caught me by surprise a few times. I get amazing traction very good bite on acceleration and they do well with braking, honestly I'm very impressed.

Falken Azenis FK520 rated 91% while driving a Mercedes Benz E320 CDI
Driving on a combination of roads for 12000 average miles
The dry grip feeling is really superior, the sensations are that of a Bridgestone Potenza without a doubt. In the wet, the grip is very good, greater than the audacity of any average driver. Due to the width of my tire (245/45 R17), when hitting a deep puddle, the braking is felt on the suspension wishbones, like with any other tire of this width. I would recommend it for use in summer and rainy days, although with deep puddles and wet road markings you have to take the same precautions as with any other wide sports tire.

Avon ZV7 rated 70% while driving a Volvo V70D5
Driving on a combination of roads for 11000 average miles
Replaced all 4 tyres on a Volvo V70 D5 with Avon ZV7. No issues at all with how they drive, both with a driver only or 4/5 passengers & a full load. However, after just 6 months & 11k miles I noticed the front tyres were wearing at a significantly faster rate in the centre than the outer edges & rear tyres. Having had them checked at a tyre centre, I was advised that they are wearing in the centre due to motorway driving. Centres 3mm, inner & outer edges 5mm & rears 6-8mm (hardly worn really). Tyre pressures have always been monitored. Having read other reviews, it appears that these Avon's have a soft tyre wall which seems to struggle to bear the weight of a heavy diesel engine. The tyre depot had no other advice than to just let them wear out & replace them! Really disappointed, as expected to get 20k miles out of the fronts & a lot more from the rears (I may achieve this). Previous Good Year, although more expensive, lasted 20k+ on the front. Wouldn't put Avon's on a diesel car again - will look for another mid-range alternative.

Uniroyal RainSport 5 rated 91% while driving a Mercedes Benz C180
Driving on mostly motorways for 20500 miles
Had Uniroyal Rainsport 5 for 33000km so I’m considering wear to be really good. Other than that I would say that tyres are good package. They are little bit slow to react compared to PilotSports or Asymmetric6. On the wet tyres are really good especially for aquaplaning. Comfort is mainly noise level for me and in this matter Uniroyals are average.

Taurus 401 HighPerformance rated 43% while driving a Mercedes Benz E Class
Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 average miles
I got one of these for my E Class Merc , it was a rushed purchase due to needing MOT. I usually put Continentals all over my car. My car is a rear wheel drive car and has a powerful 3.0 engine. In the wet the tyre will not maintain grip and it freaks out the cars computer which will flash , low traction warning, then it can place the car in low boost ( limp home mode) until you stop and restart the car. Tyres on the rear no longer match and that seems to be very bad, also this tyre does not seem to perform well. It seems ok in dry condition's though and cant really complain..

Avon ZV7 rated 40% while driving a Lexus IS250 RWD
Driving on mostly country roads for 30000 easy going miles
Got ZV7s on the rear in summer 2020 and not even a year later a tyre shop advised that they started cracking and should monitor them. Contacted Avon for warranty and they didn't really want to say anything unless I returned the tyre to them and would get credit in return from the original tyre fitter - not guaranteed though. Ran them for a year more and now at around 5.5mm tread have to replace them as the cracking is really bad - both in between the treads and across the treads - even the oval where the DOT is written has cracked....never again!

Barum Bravuris 5HM rated 63% while driving a Mercedes Benz E220Cdi
Driving on mostly town for 6500 average miles
I have Barum Bravuris 5hm 245/45/17 on a Mercedes Benz E class, at first they seemed ok,after 10.000 km the noise is unbeliveble, I can not stay in the car any more with these tires, it's like an air plane taking off... At first I thought I had a damaged bearing on the front axle,I can feel the vabrions in the steering wheel and on the pedals, even on the floor of the car, I checked ..they were ok, I went to check the aligment ..it was ok, everithing was green on the screen... When temperature outside is above 33 degrees the noise dissapears almost 80%. When temperature outside is between 15-25 degrees it's the worst, the vibration starts once I get to 40km/h, it sounds like a really damaged bearing.. and I have all 4 tires Barum Bravuris
