Do not buy these tyres if you value your life or car.
So many people on this site just unfortunately do not know enough about tyres to post reviews.
These tyres are dangerous I am in the process of removing a relatively new set from my new partners car.
Let's look at the facts these are cheap as chips tyres wet grip E you only get what you pay for.
Big brand company's spend thousands of pounds developing New tyres experimenting with different compounds, rubbers and construction unfortunately the same cannot be said for these.
My local tyre dealer who I have known for years does not know how these tyres get a European safety rating ! Yes that bad. The handling is terrible and with over 5mm of tread left my partner who is no racing driver does not understand what is wrong with her car skidding and feeling unsafe on wet roads I new straight away its terrible tyres ! Going to change the lot asap.
These are budget price and ditch finding road holding don't be fooled by people rating these tyres as good if you want good then do yourself a favour and spend some money on a quality brand or at least a good quality mid range tyre. Remember your life and car are worth it as this is the only thing between you and the road. Enough said I think.

Just come back from having two of these tyres replaced on the front of an A3.The tyres had come supplied by a dealer with the car 2 years ago.

The best thing you can say is they don't wear quickly. Or much at all. 23,000 miles and still legal. I suspect the rubber compound is very hard.

Bad news? The left tyre developed a large radial crack on the inside wall that I only spotted by chance. When both tyres were removed they had very uneven wear. Tyre pressures were spot on.

Wet grip was poor, road noise was horrendous and the handling awful.

Replaced with some Pirelli's (not my first choice but it was a distress buy) and my ears are already thanking me.

Chap at the garage said he often see's Acellera tyres come in with the radial cracks on the inner and outer wall.

I'd avoid these tyres.

Fitted to my Mondeo ST220, initially thought these tyres were half decent for the price and to be fair in the dry they perform well - HOWEVER, in the wet these tyres are VERY dangerous. Driving on a roundabout in the wet at 10-15mph will induce heavy under-steer, I've ended up crossing lanes and nearly forced someone to my left into the barriers as a result. Traction control light flickers away constantly in the wet even trying to accelerate on a straight road at 60mph in the wet and tyres can't find traction. With 2 young kids travelling with me most of the time i am replacing these tyres ASAP and would advise everyone not to buy them if thinking about doing so and if you have them on your car get them replaced! Shocking tyre in the wet!!!

Anyone driving anything sporty or rear wheel drive should seriously avoid these tyres. Driving a modest 160bhp MX5 2.0 Roadster, these came fitted by the dealership I bought the car from. To be honest I'm surprised I can still write this review (and am still walking the earth).

Now, I'm not a crazy driver and don't push hard, but it's a sporty car with great cornering... Or so it should be WITHOUT these tyres. With the tyres the slightest bit of damp on the roads and you have a death trap, even at slow speeds as there is just no grip.

I recognise that few on here with saloons etc. love these tyres and I'm sure that's all good, but anyone with any grunt under the bonnet, avoid at all costs if you want to stay in one piece.

Bought these as a replacement for Goodyear f2 asymmetric which lasted only 3000 miles!!! These tyres are fine in the dry but the slightest bit of moisture on the road and it's like driving on ice!!! Only been on my rear wheel drive bmw for 2 weeks and they have to go! Even driving in a straight line on the motorway at about 60mph feels unsafe!!!

Initally they felt pretty normal, adequate dry grip, then i drove down a wet country lane, and discovered how bad these tyres are in the wet. The car feels nervous round corners in the wet, and will often lose grip suddenly, you literally can't carry any speed into a corner at all. And pulling off at lights is always interesting too, traction control light constantly flashing even in 3rd gear at times, and its a 1.2 TSI so hardly a Ferrari. These tyres are terrible, and id never buy them, id even call them unsafe.

I just finished a 900 mile trip through the smokey mountians in the rain, I did not experience any drift, aqua planing or any loss of traction. Tires did fine in the dry as well. They are just as good a tire as the Bridgestone Potenzas they replaced.

Dry surface tyre grip is mostly dependent on the rubber compound i.e. harder: less grip, longer life, softer: more grip, less life. Wet weather tyre performance is dependent on the rubber compound and the water dispersion grooves in the tyres. I'm not sure if the tyre brand has an impact on given performance of a particular type of tyre. Reviews can be subjective. Data such as G-loadings, road surface temperatures, road surface deposits, surface texture, tyre pressures, tyre temperatures, rubber compound, tyre profile, water dispersion grooves, tyres sizes, vehicle weight, steering geometry, vehicle downforce, suspension settings etc. My main question would be is there data available on the rubber chemical composition of each tyre and a detailed breakdown of the tyre's internal structure?

I have used these tyres on my previous E-Class Mercedes and more recently on my Volvo S60. They are a fantastic tyre in my opinion at around 35% of the cost of equivalent Continentals I had fitted before (on both vehicles). Wear is better and they are also quieter. Wet grip is fine and I am about to have another set fitted by my local supplier at £57.60 each fully fitted. No brainer!!

This is my 2nd review on this tyre. I bought this brand as a replacement for Bridgestone Potenza which is the stock tyres for Toyota Vios. I think it really does perform well and the grip is quite good on dry road. Of course you would expect the tyres to perform less efficient on a wet road but it seems alright to me. Who would speed up to 200km/h on a wet road? Thats just crazy. One thing that needs to be noted that it has road noise which is to be expected from the design of the tyre threads. But using this tyre on a hot and wet climate in Southeast Asia, this tyre performs really well. Greetings from Brunei!
